[spoilers for the new episode of CR] Caleb didn't really do anything to Nott! It seems the academy fucked with people she loves above else, and she extended the academy's doings to caleb in her distress
Oh no... that’s not great. I understand her distress but why would she assume all of the academy is on Caleb’s shoulders? I understand she said something along the lines of “your people hurt my people” and maybe that’s the part of her that was raised goblin to think in packs and stuff? But why would she still associate them with Caleb after he defected and was traumatized?? Nott really is being cruel right now due to her distress for her family and while I know she is capable of that, I never expected it toward Caleb :(
I have to watch the ep to see for myself but still Sam WHY DO U DO THIS

Lentils

Lentils. And cheese. I have IBS and I just don’t digest black/ red beans well. But lentils work well for me and they are super versatile, boil them for a while with some veggies and some spices. I also like goat cheese, specially feta. Quinoa is super good, but is not that cheap, but it grows a lot when you cook it and it fills you up for a long time because of the high amount of proteins.
Unfortunately, I have the same texture problems with lentils. If they’re not cooked down to mush, I don’t really care for them. Maybe I just suck at cooking beans and lentils? I do love cheese, so that’s an easy source, but I know I need to up my fiber intake, hence the thinking about beans and whatnot.

mushrooms
Ooooh, mushrooms. I do love mushrooms and I know mixing mushrooms with ground beef is already a thing.

I cook massive pots of pasta sauce and throw tons of veggies and eggs in it
I feel silly asking, but do you just crack the eggs in and let them poach in the sauce or do you scramble them in?
Ha, okay, so, this was actually in the running for me for Stony Trumps Hate, but the Star Trek AU people won. So I COULD HAVE written this. I’m just saying.
Magic saw this movie several months before I did and immediately messaged me to be like SINE SINE THIS WOULD BE THE BEST STEVE/TONY AU but the thing about Kimi no Na wa/Your Name is that if you haven’t seen it it’s kind of hard to explain why it is the best Steve/Tony AU and you definitely can’t explain it without spoiling THE ENTIRE MOVIE. So I was like, “Okay, sure, if you say so,” and then I finally saw it months later and I was like THIS WOULD BE THE BEST STEVE/TONY AU EVER and she was like I TOLD YOU SO.
I’m going to put this under a Read More on account of spoilers.
I know there are a lot of AUs for it in other fandoms, but obviously it works so well for Steve and Tony because of the whole separated-by-time thing. And given the distribution of authors in Steve/Tony fandom, if anyone’s going to write it it’s likely going to end up MCU, but I submit to you that it works best for 616, because of identity porn, and not the identity porn that you usually think of.
So it’s a bodyswap-across-time AU, right? Where they spend a day at a time in each other’s bodies. So let’s say that Steve and Tony start bodyswapping when they’re both kids or teenagers.
And Steve thinks it’s great! Here he is in this AMAZING SCIENCE-FICTION FUTURE surrounded by all of this nifty technology. In this amazing future he is handsome! He is extremely rich! He is strong! His body works perfectly! There is enough food!
Tony gets a slightly rawer deal, being stuck in Steve’s pre-serum body in the 30s, but maybe he enjoys hanging out with Steve’s friends. I can imagine that Tony getting to be friends with Arnie Roth is a much better deal than Steve having to figure out what the hell to do with Tiberius Stone. (I mean, Steve is probably not a fan of Howard Stark’s A+ Parenting but he is not taking Tony’s physical health and unlimited access to food and shelter for granted, either.)
And here’s the great thing about 616 for this AU: Steve’s identity as Captain America is canonically a secret.
So, after they swap a few times and get around to exchanging notes and leaving their names for each other when they come back, Tony even knows he’s borrowing the body of this kid named Steve Rogers – but that means nothing to him. Similarly, even if Steve sees anything about Captain America in the future – well, he’s not going to know that’s him.
But one day, Steve finally manages to enlist in this special project, and they hand him a bunch of Project Rebirth briefing materials, and the next day he bodyswaps with Tony. And when he wakes up the next morning, Tony has frantically written OH MY GOD I KNOW WHO YOU ARE on every available flat surface and possibly also Steve’s body.
So, uh, this is when the angst starts. Because, see, as far as Tony knows, Steve is going off TO DIE. And they’ve been bodyswapping for years (and okay maybe they are very slowly falling in love but it can never be on account of the fact that they are decades apart), but this makes it so much worse. Tony knows exactly how Steve is going to die, after all. Steve being Steve, Tony doesn’t have any luck talking him out of any of it, because Steve, well, he’s gonna sacrifice himself for a noble cause, isn’t he?
But Tony manages to swap with him (or something like whatever the climax of the movie did) on the last possible day, his date with the drone plane… and he fails to save Steve. And Steve goes into the ice.
And they stop swapping.
And then Tony goes to Vietghanistan and he is EVEN MORE SAD than he is in canon because he thinks Steve is dead and he thinks it’s ALL HIS FAULT because he couldn’t stop it. And then a few months later, the Avengers get together. And then they find this guy in the ice.
Surprise, Steve is not dead! And they can finally be together!
The twist of Your Name, such as it is, are that the characters are separated across time and don’t realize it until they try to find each other. In a Steve/Tony version, it is going to be immediately obvious to both of them that they are in different times, so the reveal has to be something else that would be shocking and meaningful -- and in 616, the obvious answer is “Steve’s identity, and therefore Steve’s fate.”
Ahem. And that is why if there is a Steve/Tony Your Name AU it needs to be 616.

Illustration/Comic Auction
Depending on the complexity of the request, the length of time needed could vary widely, so the safe bet is that it will be finished before September. Art and illustration are my forte, and can be done in color, with shading. Short comics can also be done in color, but comics over 10 panels long will likely be in black and white. I have no one particular style, so if there was a style of mine that was desired in particular, that must be specified. If you have any questions about the content/subject of the art, or anything else, you’re very welcome to ask! You can message me at @sony-rark.
i'm catching up on last night's angst and it's making me have a stroke BUT consider this: viren could have watched sarai die.. She was not the person he had followed for decades. But with harrow. Under no circumstances could he die. And that's why the dark magic, the soul fang. And when harrow ends up denying him, demanding if viren would die for him? viren could not say yes, because that would mean that it ends with harrow, and not harrow and viren. and the thought of that is unbearable
UGH YES the thing is that if it was a choice between harrow and sarai, viren would have chosen harrow in a heartbeat—he cares about sarai and he knows her death would crush harrow but. also. viren could make that trade. he could do that. someone else would say there is no right choice here but to viren it’s clear and it’s even easy.
because i don’t think viren is a man who knows where healthy boundaries are. where the line should be drawn, and not crossed. harrow, he has a good heart, and he has morals and he’s not sure he’s willing to do anything it takes. and that’s—that’s good. he’s good. but that means he doesn’t understand why viren can’t accept his answer. harrow thinks no one else can die for him because his life isn’t worth more than theirs and viren thinks it is.
