Hey guys,

A little while ago I said that I'd get back to writing Smosh fics again. But there has been a lot of stuff going on in my life that I had to really take some time and focus on. Also I'm finishing up college soon, so I'm just trying to get through assessments and stuff, lol. I was thinking about this blog and whether it was worth actually coming back, since the reason I took a break in the first place was because I burnt myself out and no longer felt interested enough to keep writing fics.

But I decided that I love you guys too much to do that and I feel like I've got a supportive little community here that I don't want to give up on.

So I am coming back to write Smosh fics again, but it might take a little longer to get back into it. I just felt like I had to let you all know what's happening and what I'm thinking.

I don't have any fics planned at the moment and I won't take any requests right now. But my ask box is open, so feel free to send me messages or general thoughts, and of course ask me about sharks :)

Which fic ,that you've read, was an absolute gut punch for you? Or a fic update that you really look forward to?

Some Kind of Proof was gut punchy (haply ending)

Like a Secret (or a sin) gut punch with a more ambiguous ending

Ahhh!! Of course! The smosh authors on ao3 are so talented (especially my friends and I SWEAR that’s an unbiased take) — I’d love to hype up more fics!!

Ten of Pentacles — spommy Christmas (in July) fic!! I waited for this one so so SO patiently and it was posted the same day I made my last rec list, so I’m SO glad I can give it its flowers now!

This Modern Love — from the author of my beloved ghost spommy au, @doubleboyfriend, is this beautiful piece. Smosh members are trying to find Tommy a boyfriend but, damn, Spencer really just doesn’t think any of the options are good enough… hmm… wonder why…

Wish You Were Sober — my lovely friend @ephemore blew me AWAY with this astounding little one two punch. So good. This fic absolutely, without a shadow of a doubt, deserves more attention.

All of Me Wants All of You — I feel like this one is underrated (the author makes note that it’s unedited so keep that in mind) but it’s so heartbreakingly beautiful. Hurt no comfort, religious imagery, yearning, guilt? Thats my cup of tea right there!

Sleep Tomorrow (but Tonight Go Crazy) — TOMMIEN SHIPPERS R I S E !! This is probably my favorite tommien fic,, I come back to it every few weeks and just sigh longingly the whole time I read it. It’s so good, it has SUCH a place in my heart.

Stuck Between — Shayne/Chanse/Damien!! What a fkn trio!! (background spommy) This one is nebulously explicit… it’s a hot lil one shot with an unreleased second part; I am SO sad it doesn’t exist for public consumption, but alas. Shaymien teasing the hell out of Chanse.

and finally for today!

A Helping Hand — Shaynse single parents au!!!!!!!!!!!! Screaming from the rooftops that I need more single parent aus. Such a good meet cute with supportive, fun Amanda. I really like this one, it’s a t r e a t.
