Sorry for such a long break 😭 I haven't been doing quiet well recently considering I flunked my midterms—trying to get back in shape though! Hope y'all like this one 🥹 I'm not experienced in writing smut so this might suck a little 😔🤚

Ramona woke up in an unfamiliar bed and unfamiliar clothes. She rubbed her eyes as she stretched her arm, feeling an empty space beside her. She sat up, looking around. “Liza?” No response. She got up and went to the restroom to do her business. Where could she be so early in the morning? Events from last night flashed through her mind.

“𝘖𝘯𝘦 𝘥𝘢𝘺, 𝘺𝘰𝘶’𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘦, 𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘳. 𝘈𝘭𝘭 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘦.”
Ramona slapped her face, all embarrassed from the flashbacks. And just as she wondered more, the lack of presence of a certain blonde raised more confusion from her.
‘𝘏𝘮𝘮… 𝘸𝘦𝘪𝘳𝘥? 𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘦?’
While looking around, the brunette caught a piece of paper near the nightstand.
‘𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰𝘰 𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘵𝘰 𝘸𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘶𝘱. 𝘐 𝘩𝘢𝘥 𝘣𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘰 𝘐 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥𝘯’𝘵 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘺. 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦’𝘴 𝘣𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘬𝘧𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘳𝘴. -𝘓𝘪𝘻𝘢’
‘𝘚𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥’𝘷𝘦 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘴𝘩𝘦’𝘥 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘣𝘶𝘴𝘺 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴…’
She started to get dressed and went downstairs to see a lavish breakfast spread out. Just as she was about to dig in, a knock disturbed her, not long after the doors of the penthouse swung open.
“I see, she has guests over..” An esteemed looking gentleman greeted the brunette. Something about him made Ramona slightly panic—quickly standing up, clutching her bag, ready to get out if told to. “Sorry for startling you, sweetheart. Oh, I’m sure you are… rude of me not to introduce myself, huh?”
‘𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘩𝘦’𝘴 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶’𝘥 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘲𝘶𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘦, 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵’𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘦’
“The name’s James. James Patrick March. Pleasure to meet you, Miss?” “Ramona Royale.” She extended her hand to meet his for a handshake—unexpectedly James pulled her closer, close enough to trigger Ramona’s fight or flight response. “I’m guessing you already met my wife?”
‘𝘞𝘐𝘍𝘌?!’
Ramona felt her heart shrunk. No, she refuses to believe it—but then again, it all sounded, felt, too good to be true. No, not again. “That’s… ridiculous…”
“What is? Oh, that you just 𝘴𝘭𝘦𝘱𝘵 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘮𝘺 𝘸𝘪𝘧𝘦?” The man let out an almost sarcastic laugh. “Please be my guest, you’re not the first anyways. Just don’t let her eat you alive, dear.” That smile… Ramona felt like she’d never forget.
“I’ve got to go, pleased to meet you, Mr. March, pardon the mess.” She scurried out, not looking back. Disbelief painted all over her face. She couldn’t process how fast things were progressing, and how downwards it progressed. Elizabeth was married, all this time? All those smooth talks, the sweet words, gentle touch, the kiss, and how they literally just slept together.
‘𝘠𝘰𝘶’𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴’
Not the first. Oh wow. ‘So I’m probably not her last.’ Ramona couldn’t believe she actually thought Elizabeth would be different. Is this really the Elizabeth she looked up on?
‘𝘑𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘥𝘰𝘯’𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘵 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦’
What the fuck is that supposed to mean? And just as the elevator doors open, a familiar perfume filled the air.
“Leaving so early, Mona? I thought I sent enough signals that I wanted you to wait for me.”
Ramona took one look at those hazel eyes when tears started forming in hers. She didn’t even respond, she just dashed right past her, leaving the blonde dumbfounded. A familiar pit in Elizabeth’s stomach started forming, she knew something must’ve happened upstairs. Ramona hailed a cab, and just as the cab started taking her back to her apartment, she took one last glance at the hotel. Soon enough, sobs started to escape Ramona’s lips.
Back at the hotel, Elizabeth impatiently waited for the elevator to reach her penthouse. She opened the door and was greeted with a James March bashfully inviting himself to the drinks in her mini bar.
“What are you doing here, James?”
“Oh, you’re back already?”
“Oh, don’t start with me right now. What did you do to Ramona?”
“You mean your guest?” Elizabeth was fuming, enraged, pissed. “I just told her what she needed to hear, darling. Besides, she was the reason why you didn’t show up to our night, is that right, darling?” “Keep this up and you will never have another night with me again.” “Are you threatening me, darling?” “You know I don’t do threats, James. Don’t ever- I mean EVER dabble into my business again. I don’t want you setting foot here in my penthouse again, do you understand?”
“This is my penthouse–My hotel too, darling. Don’t you forge-”
“I don’t give two shits, James. Last time I checked, I’m not the one who’s stuck here for eternity, depending on a lowly servant who does more than what she should just to boost your dead ego.” James can feel the pure anger oozing out of her ‘wife’ and he went from arrogant to a child who’s about to get mauled by a dog. “But dar-”
“Not another word. Get out of my room. Now.” James didn’t dare fight back and just walked away in defeat. Now what should Elizabeth do with Ramona. She’s not done with her yet, barely even started. ‘I can’t lose her, not today…’
It has been a minute since Ramona last encountered the countess. She was heartbroken, though she is not completely sure why—considering they’ve only spent weeks seeing and talking with each other. She tried to bury herself in work. She started receiving flowers the past few days, from an unknown sender—but she had an idea on who it might be. After a long day of photoshoots and interviews for a new film she starred in, Ramona thought to unwind a little once she came home. She thought to herself while walking to her apartment.
‘𝘈 𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘮 𝘣𝘢𝘵𝘩 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘣𝘦 𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘦, 𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘭𝘴𝘰 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘢 𝘮𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘢𝘨𝘦—𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘪𝘴 𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘦. 𝘔𝘢𝘺𝘣𝘦 𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘢 𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘨𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘵…’
Just as she enters the room, a familiar perfume caught her senses.
‘𝘐𝘵 𝘤𝘢𝘯’𝘵 𝘣𝘦’
She became cautious in entering her apartment, a voice crawls its way in her mind
‘𝘑𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘥𝘰𝘯’𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘵 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦’
As she reaches the living room, there she is—A beautiful blonde in a white tuxedo, carrying a whole bottle of Masseto. “What are you doing here?” Ramona finally broke the silence between them.
“You haven’t answered any of my calls.”
“And why should I? You’re a cheat, Elizabeth.”
“Not so fond of my nickname anymore?” That earned a sarcastic laugh from Ramona. “You are mistaken, Mona… Just let me smooth things over?”
“Explain what? That you’re actually married all this time? That you tricked me into letting down all my guards with you, only for you to leave more rubbish behind it?”
Elizabeth took this time to stand up and move closer to Ramona. “Dearest, I won’t lie to you anymore. I was married. That man was my ex-husband.” The brunette didn’t even budge, not buying the blonde’s explanation. “You don’t believe me? I don’t blame you, he must’ve planted all sorts of idea in your head. If you doubt me, then he’s not someone you can trust either. The hotel is filled with people like such—especially James.”
Ramona just stayed quiet as she roamed her living room, sitting on her sofa—Elizabeth followed suit. “I don’t mean to break your trust, dear. I admit, I am not the type of person to open up and be honest with a lot of things. I’m sorry, for not telling you I was once married and is now tied to a lunatic ex-husband who hates seeing me with another. But what I felt for you was genuine—I felt real with you, the realest I felt for what felt like… centuries.”
After feeling the atmosphere a little, Elizabeth took the initiative to take hold of Ramona’s hand. “I enjoyed our time together. I became fond of your warmth, Mona. Please, let me make it up to you?” Ramona hated how easily she melted against Elizabeth’s words.
“You sure you’re not married? I am not fit to be the other woman, Liza—I deserve so much more than that.” That earned an earnest smile from the blonde.
“Of course, someone like you shall never be treated as such—you deserve to be treated gently…” Elizabeth moved closer, lifting Ramona’s chin, giving her cheek a peck. “with care” she moved to kiss the tip of Ramona’s nose. “𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦” then a soft kiss on the lips. Ramona was a bit taken aback with the sudden confession.
“Love is a strong word choice, Liza.”
“What can I say, I’m a bold woman, Mona. Say, dinner?”
Ramona just smiled. Relieved to have her woman in her arms again. They spent the night talking—Elizabeth telling the story of her marriage with James—leaving out details that aren’t meant for Ramona to hear just yet. After dinner, the brunette drew a bath for the two of them to enjoy—drinking the wine Elizabeth brought.
“Dearest, when are you free to visit the hotel? And don’t tell me anytime, I would hate to disturb you from your artistry.” Ramona thought for a second. “Hm.. I think I’m free Saturday this week, what’s the occasion?” Elizabeth went silent for a while, seemingly thinking deep about something.
“I have something for you to see—to know.”
Ramona felt bit of tension.
“You make me nervous…”
“Oh no need to be nervous, Mona…It’s not anything negative, take it as an exploration of the unknown.”
Ramona honestly felt confused about the sudden proposition, but she can’t help but go with the flow of the blonde—letting her take the wheel blindly.
