UM............... Y’ALL.
just a few things i’d like to point out:
THE HAND PLACEMENTS (green and red). eerily similar to how we’ve seen white displayed throughout the series.
THE MASK AND THE GEM (in blue). who else do we know that is a symbol of power and has a gem in this exact place???? ......white. it’s white.
i’m sure people have noticed this before bUT: the hair of the gem on which the mask is placed is VERY similar to rose quartz’s.
SO I KNOW A LOT OF THEORIES HAVE BEEN BOUNCING AROUND ABOUT WHITE AND THIS COULD BE A WHOLE LOT OF NOTHING BUT.... what if white was grooming pink to replace her? what if she’s trapped on homeworld, held down in a web of her own making OR by some other force we haven’t seen yet? hence the LIFTING of the mask on the crystal gems’ temple... pink’s final way of freeing herself from her “STATUS.”
