"Pinning two girls together? Not sure how I feel about that." Natasha wasn't one to shy away from a fight, even in such an underground setting. However, when she was persudaded to step into this sort of thing it was usually to put some tough guy in his place. But that wasn't the case here. Instead, he opponent was a younger woman, slightly smaller than her, with a petite build. Despite her looks everything about her was screaming "threat" not to mention the crowd's insistent screaming that she was going to take her down.

She tried to keep the vigilanting to a minimum nowadays. All that mask brought was death and the reminder of why, on that life-altering day, the spider seemed to always favor Peter Parker in every other dimension. Why risk ruining a fresh start as a normal girl with normal problems?

Naturally, Gwen put the mask back on.

It'd started with her new client, a single mother of three trying to prove that the father of her children was evading taxes and paying less child support than he should be. The only problem: she didn't have the money to pay for a private investigator, even one with as low of a rate as Gwen. She had to politely decline her services and redirect the woman elsewhere.

She looked into it. Turned out, the father was in some deep shit with the wrong people. And she was way rustier at being Ghost-Spider again than she thought she'd be. One slip against an empty trashcan behind a closed restaurant turned into an all-out brawl with three men turned into her on the ground, dazed from a heavy blow to the head, held at gunpoint.

"Woah, woah, woah!" Gwen slowly put her hands up, looking for an escape. "Okay, fellas. You got me. Let's not do anything we'll regret later, yeah?"

Lucifer wasn't used to be stared at. Well, that wasn't quite true. He was used to doing the staring, and have the reciepent stare right back. He'd have clients that would waste their session that way, sitting in silence, glaring at the therapis as if it would solve all their problems. But it wasn't him to judge. It was their time. Their precious money. This, however, was much different. The eyes that bore into him were ones of a small female, posting near the club doors. She seemed to be some sort of bouncer, which was quite amusing due to her stature and size. But there was a viciousness to her that was pallpable, and sin seemed to drip from her every pour. He met her eyes and rose his glass to indicate that he too had seen her. It was strange. He was good at blending into crowds. She must have sense him just as much as he sensed her. Once his drink was finished, he disappeared back into the crowd. It wasn't until he had his full of people watching, that he saw her again. This time on his way out. The devil smirked at her and nodded. "Hasn't anyone taught you it's not polite to stare?"
