Even though Eren knew about what happened to Hanji, he didn't try help her at all or prevent it like he is too op he could summon her to paths or do something but he was just watching. He didn't give a shit about her but he was very sad about Ramzy, That just doesn't make sense. What was the point of their conversation from ch107? It just destroyed Hanji's self confidence, she kept blaming herself for everything till her death, She didn't even know about the memories he saw.
Actually I’m still wondering about that, did Eren know that Hange would die in the process of the Rumbling? And that also applies to Sasha’s death, did he know that she would die in their attack on Liberio? While Eren has access to future memories, this does not necessarily mean that he knows everything, maybe he just saw the big picture, so he knew that he would trample over Liberio and he was so sorry in front of Ramzi and even cried in front of him, because he could foresee that that child would die because of him.
So, I’m not certain that Eren knew that Hange was gonna die, but does he know now? And in that case, does he even care? Now he’s acting as if carrying out his mission is the only thing that matters. It doesn’t look like Eren cares about his friends’ lives anymore; he’s fallen so far away, that it’s like their sorrow, their possible death are something he’s already accepted as a possible outcome of their collusion (or at least this is what we can make of his words). We’re close to the end by now, there are few chapters left and so many unsolved questions (I don’t know how Isayama will handle it all), so while I would like to see it, possibly we won’t see how Eren feels about Hange’s death.
As regards their conversation in chapter 107 though, it gave me a pretty odd, disturbing feel...it was very painful actually. Hange came to him willing to talk, they were clearly so saddened about the whole situation and about him, and then they remembered when they first met and he listened to them talking all the time...and Eren, meanwhile, just remained silent, avoiding to look at them, staring at his reflection. Hange came there trying to understand him; even after what he did, what he forced them to do with their attack on Liberio, they still displayed the good will of finding a better way together with him.
And what did Eren do? He threatened them to escape from that cell. Sayed them that they could do nothing against him, bringing out their powerlessness. And then he grabbed them and yelled at them, like what?? I mean, he was already gone so far, he was in a terrible state of mind, but why this violence against Hange, both at the psychological and at the physical level? Where did it come from? Eren was so angry, and so tense. That makes me wonder if he already knew about their upcoming death at that moment, and if it was for that reason that he reacted that way, with that sudden outbreak against them. But this is only a possible interpretation of it, actually, I cannot really understand why he acted that way. And of course, he managed to make Hange doubting themselves even more, he managed to hurt them...it was right after that that we saw Hange questioning Erwin’s decision about them. And also, back in ch 132, they said that they weren’t able to show Eren other solutions, probably remembering their last conversation, blaming themselves for that reason.
Eren made things really hard for Hange, but at least they were able to fulfill their duty with their death, to go like they wanted. And with the afterlife plane scene, Hange’s arc really ended with a relieving note.
Sorry it was such a long answer T.T Thank you for the ask!
