What's Snowkit up to?

Letting him live because he really was written just to die and make a point about "deaf cats can't be warriors" and that felt uncomfortable. It would've been far more interesting to watch him struggle, find what he can do, what he can't do, and discover his place rather than saying that he would never have been anything and killing him.

What’s Snowspeckle up to throughout the arcs?

I want him to just be existing as a warrior and doing his thing. He’s deaf, so that does come with challenges, but his nose and eyes are sharp. I don’t want him to pretend he doesn’t have challenges, but he has his way of doing things and is a bright and happy warrior.

Him and Sootfur are in a QPR. Snowspeckle is quite attentive and takes extra notice of body language in his clanmates, so he’s one of the first to notice Sootfur’s anxiety and panic attacks.

When Brambleclaw returned to the clans from The Great Journey, Snowspeckle would privately apologize to him for his mistreatment when they were apprentices, as Snowpaw then had only encouraged the bullying by being so terrified of Bramblepaw. The two get along quite well now.

He’s also the one who saved Applekit from a hawk during The Journey to the Lake. He was very proud of that, and so was his former mentor, Brackenfur.
