Them November Witches came tonight - they’re out there blowing the first snowsqualls of the year sideways. So much <3 for them right now. Both the Cailleach’s shrine and the hearth are burning bright against the sudden cold.

The clipper has produced snow, thundersnows, high winds, blowing snow and low wind chills so far the last 24 hours. Today, expect snow squalls, high winds and harsh conditions across the Great Lakes into the Northeast and Appalachians. The dangerous clipper is coming across the Great Lakes. That clipper will bring snow and heavy squalls along with high winds and blowing snow. Extreme low wind chill temperatures as well. The squalls can cause whiteout conditions and sudden icing of the roads resulting in pileups. Winds will be gusting 30-50 mph. Lake snows will be heavy once again with feet amount. I definitely acquired another bug from the funeral this week. I don't love that I'm coughing again, but I'll deal. I just wish I'd gotten to have a few days of a normal energy level before I got flattened again. I won't feel guilty about doing fuck-all this week, at least. I'm going to sleep until the evil flees my meat suit.

I'm sure other people are not thrilled with the snowsqualls today, but it's about damn time we had some decent snow. Mid-week was icy and slushy and gross, so I'll take cold fluffy stuff over that. The temperatures are finally properly cold, as well, so it's a great day to have nowhere to go.

I do not have any great span of attention, so I'm letting the day take whatever shape it wants. So far it's listening to some good music and noodling around with some watercolours, but I am also seeing a nap in my future.
