Hear Me Out (Please and Thank You)

so i have an idea????

i know a majority of ppl do not care for the KNUCKLES mini series (i like it, it's silly, but that's me 😙) BUT ☝ in my opinion, i think they ought to continue with a Season 2, where it picks off some time after the end of sonic3 (like Season 1 begins a few weeks after sonic2) & knuckles can be the one who finds shadow & bonding thru grief & all that or whatever. (i got nothing but lisTEN--)

the point of the show was knuckles trying to find his place/purpose/home on earth now that his duty as Guardian of the Emeralds is complete ("i made a vow to you and the fox" and all that 👌). SO IT MAKES SENSE THAT knuckles can be the one to help shadow (aside from sonic @ the end of the 3rd movie) to find HIS place/new purpose/new home on earth. knuckles lost his whole world (his father, his tribe, etc) as did shadow (maria 💔) (. . . professor robotnik, maybe; uncertain abt that guy bc boo on movie!gerald) (anyway) so they could get some bondage up in this house 👌

(plus, didn't keanu mention he would love to have more of the shadow & knuckles dynamic?? don't quote me on that)

that would be the main plot, helping shadow navigate earth & its splendors, etc etc. knuckles being the one to help shadow makes sense ALSO bc shadow may not want to face sonic yet (or ever??) on the account of the mistaken identity/blind rage moment which led to rip tom 💀 (but unbeknownst to shadow, our man tom is doing all right 😙👌). 

BUT ☝ the subplot(s?) would once again be G.U.N. bc let's face it, they are relentless & ugly & BOOOOO but they would be hunting down their important asset. shadow is, unfortunately, military property, no matter that he saved earth or that he's a damn 13yo CHILD. they don't care abt that, the FOOLS, they just care abt eliminating loose ends (like their attempt to wipe out robotnik & all who worked under him, e.g., The Buyer). 

wade can be a part of this; i don't care if he is or isn't. i personally like wade, he is a silly guy, & tho maybe it's bc i LOVE him but i think stone could come into play here. maybe knuckles finding stone wherever he is hiding (or tails??) (or hell, wade asking jack sinclair the bounty hunter to find stone. it'd be like “we need to find The Goat Milker” & wade is all “i know a guy”????) (IDK!!!!). ANYWAY, knuckles demanding stone's help since stone is knowledgeable & very skilled, it works, it makes sense. stone can get revenge on G.U.N. for his own reasons & help shadow stay safe at the same time.

IDK, i'm not clever, but i think it's a start. a knuckles & shadow show + @ the end, my personal fave: stone & shadow (🧡) but that's me 👌

tbh, i got nothing, really. just Ideas from my usual dose of ✨maladaptive daydreaming✨ but here. take it or leave it. i'm out ✌

Writing fanfic is so hard- because I have such great ideas! Amazing ones! Ones that I would love to see on ao3.

But then I actually have to write it. And I start off great. Inspired, motivated, productive, all that.

And then it just stays as a partially done WIP in my drafts while I turn my attention to my totally awesome, new idea.

Au idea!

An au where mutants are vampires, some more feral than others, with powers that come with it.

This oc inspired me a bit for a vampire au, so ya.

I feel like most humans would either hunt vampires, fear them, or not care much depending on where in the world you were. Some towns and cities are better than others. It just so happens that (Reader or Oc) lives in a town tucked away from the world. One that, while everyone knows how to deal with vampires if needed, simply sees them as normal people. This means that when (Reader or oc) finds a passed out man on the edge of a river on their stroll through the forest to get food, they don't care much for the sharp teeth and too pointy ears. Simply bringing the man to their home and patching him up best they can.

I don't know if (Reader or oc) would be a bby vampire or not, but if they were, i feel like the town would know and not care. Knowing (let's just say reader) gets their blood from animals and only from people if they offer in times of need. Either way, this is a great way to get a (feral) logan and / or creed to meet Reader. After a fight, they wake not in the wild but in a small cozy cabin. The scent of a stranger alerting them in their (probably) still feral state of mind. Yet, at the sight of a young (child, that's a child, a bby) stranger entering from what seems to be the kitchen with food (blood? Smells like it.) They calm down a bit. Perhaps what caught their attention was the fact the stranger was a vampire too, though it was hidden well, or maybe how young the kid was. Sure, they were probably an adult in human years, but vampires always did have a different way of aging.

Thus begins the (probably? Imma say yes) feral mutants path of getting attached to Reader and used to the mutual care. Reader, let's them stay and doesn't judge, and in return, they helped keep Reader safe when they hunted with the kid. (That became normal, too. Reader might be a feral one as well. Possibilities, Possibilities)

At some point, they get back to a less feral state of mind and realize they should probably go back to the others. (Brotherhood and xmen Rivalry could still exist in this au. It's possible) Yet they didn't want to leave their bby Reader alone. The kid barely talked to anyone in the village when they weren't selling animal meats and hides. Heck, the kid was all alone, taking care of themselves. No kid should be doing that!

So, thus, begins the writers decision.

Does the reader decide to leave with the vampire they, too, got used to? It's been so long since they actually did something other than survive, and having someone around was.. nice.

Does the reader stay, unaware that the vampire they helped would come back soon. With more friends to watch over the poor bby vampire that stays all alone and isolated?

Who knows but it's a fun idea!

i'm sorry to interrupt the queue but I just noticed the date that I made these posts and i'm shocked. where did the time go?!

i don't know if it's posting anxiety, my work schedule, laziness to have write the descriptions and dialogue again, or the fact that I have 70 drafts and these were at the very bottom... maybe everything, all at once! 😆 just wow

what are the other drafts? you'll soon find out 🤭
