On the Bobby is not the dad your looking for discourse, Season 1 Bobby and the Bobby we see trying to bond with May and Harry can have a little rights as a treat but normal Bobby- things need to change. I keep half expecting him to call Buck, Bobby jr I checked that was his son's name during a call/argument (which is either super cringey or heartbreaking you decide) or some of his advice seriously landing someone (namely Buck) in hot water. we both agree on the lack of consequences thing too.

I mean, that Bobby gets a little right, but only if he stops with the slutshaming and acting like a woman can’t decide herself whether she wants to have sex with a man or not, but other than that?

Season 1 Bobby at least knew what a consequence was and he was interesting! Characters don’t need to be perfect but they need to be interesting and we need to have their faults acknowledged and not ... treated the was fandom currently treats Bobby and his relationship with Buck like it is perfect and healthy - which it is not, both are projecting things onto each other but in an unhealthy way
