What is your favourite country?
Damm not an ask I was expecting but okay- Honestly speaking? America.
Its giant. Literally sea to shining sea, I grew up in the tall grass prairie region- plains with rolling hills dotted with cattle and prickled with wildflowers, Indian paintbrushes, bluebonnets, black eyed susans, and buttercups running along just about every patch not adorned with thistle and brushel.
That in the summer you can hear the junebugs and crickets long into the starry night, the mayflies flittering alongside cicadas skins that dot the screen door each new morning.
Ive been to the deserts, seen the layers of clay and sand swirling together like a solid sunset pressed and molded over times much longer than I can comprehend. The feeling of being so small that whatever direction you look, mountians silhouette on he horizons dancing between sunrays dawn and dusk.
Now I live up north, where frost and rains come easy and every direction is bursting with vibrant green. Vines and ivy wrap around structures of man and nature interchangibly.
Its a place built in a thousand stories of dreamers, of tragedy, of hope and heartache, its one thing and yet a million- there is no one way to be and any way you are there is a place for you.
Recent times hasn't been as peaceful or accepting at least in public view- but Im not looking at the tvs, im looking at my friends, my neighbors, my communities that despite coming from such vastly different ends somehow in someway ended up just down the road.
Its good, bad, and really fucking ugly- but its home. And nothing else, no matter how beautiful, will ever compare to me
i was ⬇️, i lost everything i had, but we never let it break us

“Brittanytopia was the most popular city on the map! The best tourist destination! And the hotels…”
“WERE THE MOST EXPENSIVE HAHA!”
“Knocking Alvin out and making him go bankrupt was SO SATISFYING! Eleanor too! Her surprised face!”
“Simon held on the longest but eventually he landed on my most expensive property.”
“Jeanette didn’t get taken out by me. Alvin got her. Theodore I totally drained dry though.”
“I could literally talk about this all day, but I have been told to rein in my gloating. Oopsie.”
“I was almost like…a billionaire.”

“Sans, it fucking... glowed . On the waves. It was blue and so, so bright. I was just this little kid, and it was like, for the first time...I realized I lived in a world that was big and amazing , and…”
You squeezed him closer, looking out at the ocean and seeing it before your eyes. You didn’t have to bring Sans here to tie him to the memory. He was already part of it, ever since you’d first seen the color of his soul.
“It looked just like you.”
