"Nosy..." Will whispers quietly. What is that niffler doing under the desk, they are in the middle of the class!

"Nosy let it go..." a little louder, this time directed more towards the creature than into his lecture notes. If anything, rustling and tugging at his shoes became more insistent. Will catches a moment when Professor Weasley moves to write something on the blackboard — the prefect ducks under the desk with a hiss:

"Nosy!"

Nosy tugged and pulled on Will's shoes with fierce, determined little paws, completely ignoring the hushed whispers above him. There was no way the Niffler was going to give up, not when he was this close. With a final, triumphant yank, the shoe slipped free, and Nosy fell back, landing squarely on his fluffy bottom with a quiet thud.

His eyes gleamed with mischief as he held the now-liberated shoe for a moment, but this was not what the Niffler was after. Nosy's gaze quickly shifted to his actual target: the sock. Without missing a beat, the little menace grabbed the tip of Will's sock and started to pull, inch by inch.

Just as William ducked his head under the desk, trying to stop the chaos beneath, the sock came off with a smooth tug. Nosy snickered in victory, holding the (surprisingly nice-smelling) sock high above his head like a trophy.

Before Will could even react, Nosy scattered off, the sock dangling from his snout as he dashed towards a nearby corner, tail wiggling in delight. The redhead was left behind, bare, exposed, stripped, and a look of utter disbelief washing over his freckled face as he watched the Niffler disappear into the shadows.
