pretty sure it’s depression talking but i’m also pretty sure i’m doing something terribly wrong parenting-wise but i know i wouldn’t be able to hear it without wanting to give up on life completely and that’s how i know it’s the depression talking so how the hell do i tell it to shut up...

The next update to “A Brave New World...” is Friday rather than Thursday:

I have an RSS fic, a petty “DO!Belle deals with a baby” fic, and a fun-fun-fun (send help please god,) Thanksgiving meal to attend that’s gonna suck the soul out of me for the rest of Thursday.

I’ll give my thanks if I can go two weeks without my grandmother having a medical hiccup. In case anyone is wondering, the latest was yesterday, involving fluid retention because she wouldn’t take her diuretic pill, due to the issue she decided to take THREE LAXATIVES at once for, which naturally went awry--

What was I talking about? Oh.

The voice didn’t startle the Spartan III, at least not visibly, but it did take them a moment to respond as they glanced around for the source. Glancing down on a whim, the Spartan made a quiet noise as they noticed the armor clad figure. 

“And you’re not. “ A simple statement, nothing insulting intended considering they had to be at least a foot taller than the speaker. “Though I’m sure being that small has it’s advantages.”

The more I think about it, i feel like we barely saw frank and hazel in the last book and the lack of their characters upsets me very much because they were my favorites and I love them and I felt like their plot lines got nO CLOSURE WHATSOEVER
