I mean, it’s in the game that your vault dweller can be anywhere between 16 - 35, and in the Vault Dwellers memoirs, it says “The Overseer gathered the healthy of us between a certain age and made us draw straws. Guess what? I drew the short one.” The Overseer was clearly pretty okay with trusting a 16 year old with saving the lives of literally everybody in the vault, which is... kind of wack to be honest
