born and raised in new york city, cicely is the only child of one carl larsson and miranda larsson. her parents left to fend for herself the majority of her life, expecting nannies to take care of her.

however, they did enroll her in all the best schools, her intelligence showing at a very young age. they were convinced that she’d do something worthwhile with her life. (spoiler alert: she didn’t.)

expressed an interest in literature and writing from a young age and decided at the age of seven that she wanted to become an author

moved to denver to attend college but dropped out after one semester because she thought she was better than school. (the real reason was that she couldn’t deal with the pressure of possibly failing at something.)

published a book when she was 22 except it was under a pseudonym because she didn’t want to deal with the pressure of fame even though she desperately seeks it.<

met a man named gideon who changed her life for the worst and he’s one the biggest reasons why she’s the way she is now? they both treated each other like garbage and every now and then will go back to him if she really wants to hate herself.

has three friends who she would do anything for (she’s slept/sleeping with two of them), park se jun, trevor savage, elie siskin. they have a very codependent relationship and one won’t do anything without the others and it’s just very messy since elie chooses his wife over them sometimes. they are based off of authors: allen ginsberg, william burroughs, jack kerouac, and lucien carr.

is drunk 99% of the time and does copious amounts of drugs, anything to really feel alive.

sleeps around more than any normal person should but she likes the intimacy and will pull information out of people to use them for her art.

she’s very, very abrasive and just a trashy mess.

personality: rebellious, individualistic, impulsive, condescending, intelligent, honest as all hell, trashy, thinks about the consequences later, lives very in the moment, doesn’t care what people think of her, prone to addiction, conflicted, loves first times, wants to be successful without the work, scared, can be needy, a true mess

she likes to complain, A LOT.  yes, she grumbles and bitches you out if you ask her to do something, but she almost always yields if she likes you. tried to make daddy proud until she realized daddy was a piece of shit.  went to community college for a vet tech program. that’ll show mr. old money (aka her dad), huh? doesn’t care if her little brother evan is a lazy piece of shit, you’re not allowed to bad mouth him unless you’re her. professional secret keeper. hasn’t told a soul that she was sexually assaulted when she was 26.  all anyone knows is that she was beat up during a “robbery” and she hasn’t been as cheery since. no one knows she was the cause of an accident that led to a woman being ejected from her vehicle, eventually resulting in her death (enid was abusing pain meds at the time). watches way too much youtube. that’s the only way she can fall asleep, though. insomnia is a bitch. terrified of clowns (she won’t be seeing It). doesn’t go anywhere (other than work, and even then she keeps it in the car) without packin’ one of her several hand guns. got certified to instruct self-defense classes and has been doing that since she was 29. classes are monday, wednesday, and friday (unless you pay for a private class). hurt feelings come off as raging bitch. she’s more sensitive than you think. brutally honest.

the rest of her siblings requested by emma here!!  a buddy or two she met while in na meetings about 3 years ago (she’s been clean about that long).  a romance thing, idc what. i was thinking some cop or private eye or a good big brother taking her self-defense classes with his sister (he’s probably as jaded as she is).  exes that she’s probably sent to the er after throwing a toaster or remote control at their heads.  really good friends that she’s actually nice to because she loves and respects them.  most of her really good friends have proven to her that they’re trustworthy at some point e.g. they never brought up that time she cried like a baby when her ice cream cone fell in the dirt, they returned something valuable to her when they could’ve kept it themselves, they lied to someone for her benefit, etc.  idk just all the things.

overthinks everything, puts too much pressure on herself, tries to come off as Laissez Faire but can only ever do anything remotely careless after two tequila shots. whimsical, a day dreamer, puts things off until the very last minute out of fear of failure. one of those gifted kids that ended up burning out after a while and everyone stopped saying ‘good job’ to so she just internalized all of that. outwardly polite, soft, easy to walk all over, and all those picturesque qualities elizabeth van der beck wanted in a daughter. she’s a former professional figure skater that could’ve made it big if it wasn’t for that one injury that left her Too Sad. it didn’t help that she pushed recovery and made things Worse. then she found scooter kitson and everything seemed great, and they got married, and he made her Happy. then miscarriage number one happened, then number two, and by number three the strain on their marriage had been too much that things deteriorated. except he hasn’t signed those papers and everyone still calls her mrs. kitson by default and it’s the reason she hates coming back to denver so much. but here she is because her dad, who she was never that fond of, is sick. currently working on a memoir and taking it Easy. which includes lounging by the pool and replaying every horrible thought she’s ever had.

needs: to take a chill pill (someone hot box her until she mellows out, please), some friends, a really cute high school ex who might be getting married and she can’t wait, a fwb (the request is somewhere on my blog). and everything else.

skeeter here is my idiot former trailer park trash.   a daredevil and a never misses a party. he's the eldest of five (including his twin, scooter) and skeeter likes it that way considering “i’m the oldest” is his winning answer to everything any of his siblings has to throw at him.   is mature at heart but that is underneath a lot of parties and burgers and fireworks. is the crazy one at the party that ends up on everyone’s Snapchat story.   alcohol isn’t off his radar necessarily. even though alcoholism runs in the family.  he hotboxes in his car when his employees are driving him up a wall (or anyone drives him up a wall). “one: don’t try hard at anything, okay?  two: make fun of people who do try.  three: be handsome.  four: if anyone steps to you on the first day of school, you punch them directly in the face.  five: drive a kick-ass car.” - jenko. that is skeeter in a nutshell. he’s got a long list of ex-lovers thanks to his inability to keep it in his pants, and probably a kid or two out there because of it.  for a long time as a boy, skeeter used to think he was gonna make it big as a hockey player.  he had the skill for it, even got into the university of denver on a partial athletic scholarship thanks to said skill.  the partial is where he ran into trouble, since his family couldn’t afford to pay the bills, let alone college tuition. that’s basically how/why he got into stripping in the first place, to help with the college expenses. when it came down to it, skeeter was too emotional over the idea of leaving his siblings behind, so he opted to put his business degree to good use instead of going off to the big leagues, by opening up a strip joint, the treasure chest.  the simple parts of life bring him the most joy. family, women, pot, nice kicks, and good fucking food.  he’s a guy’s guy to be sure.
