{The Moderates Doodles!:}
I really wanted to design Progressive and then I just ended up drawing all of them together, as one does. ^_^ I love the moderates so much, I like to think they're all good friends and get along more than the extremists. It's a shame I don't see much art of them. Socdem's design makes zero sense unless you know the lore behind it </3, Progressive is obviously inspired by hippies, Chriscon is inspired by the church, and Libertarian is inspired by the Victorian period (well-known for its Industrial Revolution.) ↳ {Lore ramblings below!:}
"Accumulation is impossible in an exclusively capitalist environment. Therefore, we find that capital has been driven since its very inception to expand into non-capitalist strata and nations, ruin artisans and peasantry, proletarianize the intermediate strata, the politics of colonialism, the politics of ‘opening-up’ and the export of capital. The development of capitalism has been possible only through constant expansion into new domains of production and new countries. But the global drive to expand leads to a collision between capital and pre-capitalist forms of society, resulting in violence, war, revolution: in brief, catastrophes from start to finish, the vital element of capitalism.
Capital accumulation progresses and expands at the expense of non-capitalist strata and countries, squeezing them out at an ever faster rate. The general tendency and final result of this process is the exclusive world rule of capitalist production"

I'd rather be shot or imprisoned as a proud antifascist than cower in fear from a place of safety.
Btw as someone with a fixation on watching elections I have noticed that there is this new insane theory among European liberals, that recognizes that cordon sanitaire doesn't work and if you just keep a far right movement out of power for one election with some useless big tent coalition they will continue to gain popularity, and asserts that the best alternative is to...
DELIBERATELY LET THEM GOVERN FOR THEM TO "show that they're incompetent and can only complain with no real solutions"?!??! Like this is supposedly inspired by the polling collapse of the governing far right parties in Sweden and Finland (incredibly tiny countries to take such an inspiration from btw) BUT ARE YOU PEOPLE INSANE. Fuck all the people they are going to deport and harm in that one trial term you want to give them I guess?!? Just for what, for your fave liberal/socdem party to be able to hold onto power without actually changing their policies??
You guys know you can actually BAN far right movements, or at least the more outright racist parts of their rhetoric, right?? That you can actually violently disperse race riots and farmer protests against regulation, even fire on them if you have to??? Like it's not that hard to do in your countries, unlike the us (from which a lot of your politicians draw inspiration from for some reason) you don't have racist pedophiles from 300 years ago telling you you can't do that.
That is a third solution, that isn't either ignoring them or letting them win "once", and this one is actually proven to work, ask all the socialist states. If Falun Gong appeared in Europe instead of china y'all would just let them take power, meanwhile china made them functionally extinct outside of diaspora.
Conceptualising urban public transport in SocDem sectors. Worked with the prompt "flying cars" as any scifi setting might have, but the cultural and political influences of Light Era would not give much credit to the idea of everyone owning a car
