well see when i went to go see prometheus, i knew that there was a possibility that it could be a prequel but i still really wasn't sure and i'm STILL not sure. some people say it is a prequel and some say it is not.
at the beginning they said, it IS a prequel, and then it WASN'T and then it was, "it's in the same universe as alien but it's NOT a prequel." ridley scott and the cast continued saying that for the promotion up until the premiere and even after the premiere.
but then you see alien being born at the motherfucking end and you're like, WELL WHAT IS IT. if it's not a prequel to alien, THEN WHY EVEN HAVE ALIEN. WAS IT SUPPOSED TO BE A CAMEO APPEARANCE, WHAT.
