There are several white-flowered cultivars but this could be Tulbaghia violacea ‘Alba’ (white-flowered society garlic). This is a clump-forming perennial with corm-like rhizomes. The flowers are fragrant and bloom from mid-summer to early autumn. This plant is ideal for a gravel garden.

One for the Society Pages. When Flowers dress up and attend the Ball or Theatre or Opera, they appear in the Garlic Society Pages to celebrate the occasion.

I hear the aftermath is hungover and hung out to dry. The beforemath is much saner and pretty.

Planting up one of my new plants. This is society garlic. It’s going to be next year before I will see flowers. You can use the leaves and flowers in cooking obviously the leaves have the hint of garlic.
