It’s very grey and rainy here today, so my Wild Roses socks will have to be my May flowers for now.

haven’t been working on socks lately but recently got back to it and picked this pair! all done now!!!
pattern: i ain’t afraid of no ghosts by stone knits.
pattern changes: shortened leg, used shadow wrap short row heel.
I finished my socks! And I may have cast on another pair which I'm going to work in my Halloween yarn:)
using a fun color changing yarn with a solid in colorwork knitting is the best 😍😍😍
Sometimes all you need is a simple vanilla sock. I knit these ones up with my free Small Moments pattern using a sock set.
Does this sock have anything to do with what I’m supposed to be doing today? No. (I’m gonna knit it anyway, though)
A French press creates a rich and robust cup of coffee. Coarsely ground beans are added to the press and then brews in boiling water to create a smooth and full-bodied result that’s difficult to replicate with any other brewing method. The French Press socks use stranded colourwork to represent coffee grounds slowly steeping, the flavour rising up through the water for the perfect cup.
I knit mine up with Hedgehog Fibres Sock Yarn in the colourways Maiden and Crone.
The pattern is written for four adult sizes in English et en français, and you can find it on my website and Ravelry!
Matcha elevates everything it’s added to, from desserts and confectionaries to hot and cold drinks. The strawberry matcha latte is a study in decadence, with layers of matcha, milk, and strawberry puree. These equally decadent socks mimic the summer drink with scalloped colourwork around the cuffs and toes, simultaneously simple and indulgent.
I knit up my pair with the appropriately decadent Dreamy Cashmere base from Little Wing Fibers in the colourways Matcha Latte, Onigiri, and Cherry Blossom Season.
