these sock puppets are a bit of a sequel to my drarry dolls. they were mostly made with the scraps i had from last year! i giggled uncontrollably while crafting these silly things.

Some of my May 2026 Patreon livestream questions answered…

For the first question, one burning question I had was about Open Arms and ‘who voiced the sock puppets’… I should have expected this answer lol 🧦🧦🧦🧦

For the second question, I feel like Remus’ character has got softer over the years, and rightly so, he’s not as much of a threat now as the element of surprise is worn off

BUT I will argue in his first ep, right when he’s revealed, that moment is as close to a horror scene as SaSi will get, it’s very Bob

My latest unhinged suspicion is that there are currently multiple active Stranger Things ✌️“fan”✌️accounts in various social media (INCLUDING Tumblr, Twitter, & even AO3) that are actually a disguised, deliberate & coordinated marketing/production effort with the goal of pushing certain very specific ideas/hints/“headcanons”/“leaks” into the larger fandom’s collective consciousness.

One of these “headcanons”/“leaks” being the ✨Bychance✨ one. (Credit to @ven0moir)

These accounts purposefully speak & write in a common “fangirl”, “stan culture” style full of “jokes”, while simultaneously delivering bizarre & overly sus cryptic subliminal messaging.

Some very recent AO3 ✌️“fan”✌️ fics I’ve been reading (specifically bychance fics) are way too dangerously close to the canon timeline, characterization, metaphorical subtext, narrative patterns & mythological lore of the actual show.

Coincidence? It gets to a point…

Like an insane, elaborate, insidious ruse or conspiracy from the source itself lmfaoo.

Call it narrative cryptic astroturfing sock puppets. 🤪🎭

Hehehhehee I can absolutely do that. I had too much fun with this one, I have to say!

Aiden stares straight ahead with the expression of a bored, exasperated, drying fish, still sat in most of his armor but only one of his shoes. In front of him there is a small setup, meaning the bed is upturned and Lambert is kneeling behind it, just barely out of sight. On his hands are two socks, fitted around his hands to form little mouths and with a stick shoved into one.
