This Out of Rhythm Sock Pattern is available on Ravelry now, but I thought I’d tell you a little bit about my inspiration for the design. About 3-4 weeks ago, as I was trying to fall asleep, my heart started beating in a weird way. It didn’t hurt. It didn’t cause much alarm. The next day, the out of rhythm beating continued. Again, no pain and not really any alarming symptoms. Finally, six days later, after feeling the non-stop out of rhythm beats, I went to the emergency room. I was told I have Premature Ventricular Contractions, or PVCs. Not too scary and not dangerous, at this point. Fast forward to today. The out of rhythm beats have increased and I now have some accompanying symptoms. I am scheduled with a cardiologist later today to see what is up with this heart of mine. SO, to wrap all of this up, it was very important to me to get the Out of Rhythm Socks our to you before today and I succeeded!! It’s amazing where our inspiration comes from. While most might think that I was inspired by Valentines Day, that really was just a coincidence.
