While fiddling around with this sunflower it occurred to me I was also wearing my green ankle socks which if I want to be super honest--- my Kurama Casual project was influenced by amazing artists and their cute clothes they make up for the characters. >O< So, I have no shame plugging @heytherechief because her art of Kurama cuddling Yusuke is why green ankle socks / all matter of ankle socks (since Kurama can’t go a day without showing off his ankles) went into my headcanon! lmao

for the rest of my loves

there are so many of you that i hold dear who write things that touch my heart but maybe you just don’t write so much anymore and that’s okay. i still love you dearly and look over your works fondly so i’m going to include some of my favorites with tags as well! 

authors that have changed me: @socksssss, you always motivate me in the best ways. i’m so excited to let you back into my process and share with you because it was my favorite part of chatting with you, was just being in the writing process with someone else. your words are always some of my favorite to read. @beanaroony, i’m so proud of you. your writing will always floor me with its rawness and you’re always going to be in that god-tier idolization that i have of you, nothing you do can take that away now. @manhattanbohemes, it’s been so long but i still peruse your fic tag just to read things and your writing is as lovely as a cool summer day, so crisp and concise but full of energy and emotion. i’m always going to be envious of it. @foepucker, going to always be in possession of those dumb fics that broke my heart, god. i still remember being terrified to talk to you and @kiichi because you were just so. good. at what you do. still are!! always going to be interested in anything you guys ever produce, seriously. like katie just had one of those giant stories that people like...verbally harass you to update. too good at everything. @voltisubito and selena, who pulled me from fandom to fandom with their words, leaving me picking up the drabbles like breadcrumbs into all of these new worlds. you two were some of the sweetest gems of those fandoms we were in so long ago and i still hunger for your writing, i can’t wait to see some of it in the future. 

for anyone i didn’t mention: i’m still scared. i’m still learning. so trust me, i read everything voraciously and i take it all in slowly. i am cheering for you always and rooting for you and will always offer encouragement. i’m not perfection but i spend days reading and come across so much that i’m scared to say i like. scared to talk to you or approach you so just know i’m cheering from the background.
