Felt like indulging in some good ol'fashioned OC shipping lol - not to mention some reference use. Ballet dancing is fun to look at and a great way to learn how bodies can move. Sofia's face here was frustrating though, with the tough angle it's at.

Also used this to test out a new brush, which I think worked pretty well.

Ideas for the FF14 version of Sofia; partway through I had a "What if Allagan??" brainworm, lol, hence why there's a red-eyed version.

She’s a Sharlayan aetherologist, studying aether currents all over Eorzea! Probably a Scion as well, though I doubt she’d be my canon WoL/WoD.

Character is non-binary and uses she/her or they/them pronouns!

Year 1608 Part 2:

The family continued to have more new members as Aniyah and Samuel welcomed their son, Mathias, into the world just before Alton and Janet had their son, Adrien.

Adrian then arrived at his daughter’s home just in time to dote on his young great-grandchildren. Then news came that Susanna had a son named Nathaniel. 

While Susanna loved her son, she was starting to get a bit more disenchanted by her marriage which meant that Adrian’s visit was a welcome change in her day. 

Sofia turned six and definitely seemed to take more after her mother than her father but she was still young.

Year 1602 Part 1:

TW/CW: Death, Stillbirth

The year began happily with news that Larissa’s great-grandson Philip had gotten married followed by Ambrose’s granddaughter Janet and Oliver’s youngest Selena all in the April after Artemisia’s first birthday and Corinne Laurent’s thirteenth.

It was the end of April when Clemence went into labor after a complicated pregnancy. Her daughter, Sofia, was born a very healthy little girl on the last day of the month. Unfortunately the toll of pregnancy and strain of labor did not treat Clemence as kindly and she passed away just a few days later in May. 

Still in mourning Brooklyn went into labor only to find that their daughter, who they named Agnes, was stillborn. 

Samuel and Aniyah were expecting their second child and while the fear of another loss was weighing far more heavily than it was already, they hoped for the best.

TBC is here and I wanted to doodle a TBC-era Sofia. I leaned heavily into the Sypha inspiration with the short hair and massive poncho! In this place in time she's a dutiful researcher for the Kirin Tor, exploring Outland and studying the effects of the Twisting Nether on the fragmenting world. Before that, though, the Violet Eye sought her out for an important mission into Karazhan, as her ability to phase through the Nether allows her to bypass Medivh's wards. What she did in there, she won't say. She's putting her mind off of it by working in the domes of Netherstorm and attempting to repair the damage done by Kael'thas and his Sunfury elves...
