2. What's their favorite comfort food that they eat when they're sad?

Ooohhhh, tricky... I think it might go back to Tavv's childhood. Her parents were bakers, so probably a baked good they used to make. I need to flesh out the lore on this, but the first thing that pops into my head is a nice, gooey cinnamon roll. Or maybe just, freshly baked bread. There's probably also some street food she used to pick up, filched or bought, like roasted chestnuts or grilled, spiced meat on skewers. Anything that takes her back to childhood and her home.

5. Do they have any collections?

Tavv collects trinkets, odds and ends, shiny objects. She also loves books. They're expensive, so some of her collection is stolen 😅. But she does more often than not try to get them legitimately these days. She has a trinket chest with some sussur flower petals, some of the "magic" rings from the tiefling kids in the grove, and some other objects of beauty or personal significance that she collected during their travels.

11. What's their favorite thing that their partner (if they have one) has ever said to them?

Probably the line with the most emotional impact was when Gale first said he was in love with her. But the biggest sigh of relief was the morning after conversation, where he said she'd given him hope, that he was going to keep fighting. I haven't fully flushed out their dynamic post-game, but I rather imagine there are some sweet Gale lines waiting to be found there. :)

25. What's their favorite place to kiss their partner?

Tavv likes to kiss his shoulder, as she's often the big spoon due to her horns. A kiss on the mouth is always wonderful, but I feel like she likes to surprise Gale with unexpected adoration: a kiss on the hand, a kiss on the forehead, a kiss between his shoulder blades as she hugs him from behind.

What's her favorite (non-sexual) place to be kissed?

Of course lips are her preference but Queenie also LOVES it when she’s kissed on the hand! It makes her feel very royal and valuable I think 🤭! Exhibit A lmfao 🤣! But that’s for partners/love interests! For friends and family - I think she really likes being smooched on the head or cheek. She’s much more of a kisser than a hugger I feel 🙂‍↕️

Keme for you, bc I feel like I've been neglecting her.

What's an item that is deeply important and special to them? What makes it so special?

Her boots. She has this pair of low, slouchy boots (the Bold Hellion armor set ones) that she's had since she was sixteen. They were part of the first outfit that was completely 100% hers after she was rescued from slavery. She's in her forties now and they're still good. They're still comfy, still hold up, she still wears them all the time. (Jorgan teases they're as stubborn as she is)

What's your OC's favorite cuddling position?

I think in general Ashni just loves spooning. She enjoys being the little spoon but also kinda loves when Gale is. It's a win either way, honestly.

She and Gale also have a habit of reading on top of one another which annoys Azhar (Ashni's brother) immensely (he's just jealous. Wants his own wizard to cuddle because he may or may not have a thing for Rolan.)

3. What's a secret passion of theirs?

I think i've mentioned this before in a different ask, but Ashni is a decent artist. She loves drawing but painting is her particular favorite. Given her affinity for water, I think she likes the smoothness of a paintbrush on canvas. She finds it soothing. This goes kind of unnoticed up until they meet the artist in the Zhentarim hideout and everyone is sort of shocked by her seemingly sudden absurd knowledge of painting.

She's also got a mind for tinkering and is into playing around with/studying raw magic because she is very much not a "mystra is all magic" type of person.

11. What's their favorite thing that their partner (if they have one) has ever said to them?

Honestly I wish I had a cool line that I've written myself but also Gale has such good lines so 🤷🏼‍♀️.

"Stars as my witness, you will always be enough for me."

"Godly power I can live without. But you? Never."

Home girl has some big self worth issues. So those are big moments for her. But I think she also really loves Gale's initial proposal, the "I was wondering ...." as if she might say no? She just finds the tentativeness of it kind of endearing. It's not this grand proclamation the way the other two statements are but still has the same effect of showing her that in his eyes she's a marvel.

18. What's their favorite scent?

Shocker--it's the smell of the sea. Or more specifically, the smell of a storm on the sea. The happiest moments of her early life are all by the sea or on a ship. She associates it with her mother but also it's very much a breath of fresh air type thing after she ends up being pretty cooped up in her fathers house. Point being--she thrives in Waterdeep. She loves having a balcony over the water. I have a whole thing in my brain that during the romance scene with Gale when he shows her his tower there is this very silly interlude of sorts where she just gets psyched about the balcony because " you have a balcony over the ocean??" She's thrilled. I think she also develops a specific fondness for the smell of books. She's always liked books. But, living in waterdeep I think their library has a bit of "books with a mist of the sea" kind of vibe and she's really into that. Also--it's how Gale usually smells. 🤷🏼‍♀️

25. What's their favorite place to kiss their partner?

I always think of Gale as someone who is super warm and Ashni loves that. She loves cuddling into his neck so --she's a big neck kisser. And it doesn't hurt that Gale makes some very delightful sounds when she does it.

32. What's their favorite thing to do with their partner?

So the nerdy thing is that they do kind of become a research team. They work together a lot and Ashni does some guest lectures in Gale's class at Blackstaff. The cute thing is that they have tipsy poetry nights and are also very much a "long walks on the beach" kind of couple.

3 What's a secret passion of theirs?

Language of flowers I think. How to make a flower arrangement to deliver the most devastating sentiment and for most people to be completely unaware of it. He also likes drying and pressing flowers, but by the Creators DO NOT TELL ANYONE.

10 How many pillows do they sleep with?

I think a one or two small pillows which he actually uses to sleep on and one big pillow that 90% of the time ends up being hugged. XD After he starts sleeping with Bellara he keeps sleeping with both types of pillows, but ends up tossing at least one of them to the floor.

8 If they were in a book how would they be described by others/ the narrator? Rather average in looks, if too tall and broad in the shoulders to blend in seamlessly in a crowd. With head held high and straight back she's not someone that takes insult easily or is willing to make herself seems smaller on anyone's account.

14 What's something they unashamedly adore? I think Alectris has troubles with expressing positive emotions in unashamed and opened way. She's super normal and well-adjusted this way. But the one thing that completely escapes the containment is how much she adores her mabari - Kios. That dog is beloved frined, spoiled prince and a life-line all in one and there's no amount of posturing or reputation to protect that would stop her from doting on him.

15 What (kind of or specific) outfit do they feel most comfortable with? Marigold prefers simple clothing, usually in greens and blacks whenever possible. She works with a lot of people outside of Mourn Watch and prefers to not look intimidating or strange to them.

16 Do they have a "lucky" item? I don't think she does actually! She's not really a superstitious person in this way.

1. What's your OC's favorite cuddling position?

Mary: When the person she's cuddling is laying atop her. The combination of their weight + no pinned limbs + easy access to playing with their hair is perfect in her mind.

Emil: The spoonwich. Spoon is nice, but being in the middle is their favorite and they melt a bit. Bonus points if Jack flings himself over the spooning trio

2. What's their favorite comfort food that they eat when they're sad?

21. What's their dream date like?

Mary: Her dream date would involve doing some sort of activity she and her partner(s) doing together, such as snorkeling or attending a craft fair, and then having a nice dinner at her favorite sit-down restaurant, followed up with driving somewhere where they can do a bit of stargazing :3

Emil: To absolutely no one's surprise, it'd be an aquarium date, including a gift store visit. And then a nice dinner somewhere, nothing terribly fancy. Follow that up with a walk on the beach to see the sunset or some cuddling while watching the sunset and you have a happy demigod.

16 - Do they have a lucky item? Athos has a small iron key that he found in the Ingellvar crypt as a small child. Because he was found in the Ingellvar crypt as an infant, the undead of that crypt claimed him as his own. None of those undead knew what the key was for, so they allowed little Athos to keep it, and he still carries it with him to this day as a reminder of the first gift his family gave him. 35 - What do they smell like? Rosemary and leather. While Athos first learned of rosemary in the embalming process, it can also be used to help deter moths and keep clothing smelling fresh. Athos keeps springs of it in his clothing chest to help his clothing stay fresh. The leather comes from the bracers and gloves that he normally wears. One of his bracers has a pocket tucked into it where he carries his lucky key.

16 - Do they have a lucky item? Her sealskin. Tempest was found as an infant on the battlefield, wrapped within the seal skin. Her family later discovered the seal skin allows her to transform into a seal. It is her most prized possession and she sees it as an extension of herself 35 - What do they smell like - brine and jasmine. The smell of the sea clings to Tempest, even far from the ocean. Growing up, her family had jasmine bushes on their estate. As a small child she would pick flowers for her mother and bring them to her. She wears a jasmine scented perfume gifted to her by her mother and father.

11: What's their favorite thing that their partner (if they have one) has ever said to them?

"You fall, I'll catch you." It started as an off-hand reassurance, and over the years became a touchstone, an anchor. It reminds Cait that Sam will always, always be there for her, no matter how dark and dangerous the situation.

Sloane

4: What's an item that is deeply important and special to them? What makes it so special?

Is anyone surprised that it's a weapon? Specifically, the Knight Tactical Compact Pistol, aka the US SOCOM MARK 24 MOD 1, aka the JR-45TC. Designed by the now-defunct firearms company Jaeger & Ritter (bought out in 2013 by Steiner-Bisley), the KTCP, chambered in .45 ACP, was the mainstay of the United States Special Forces for the better part of a decade. This particular handgun was a gift: her second Alpha-team commander, Capt. William "Mild Bill" Dane, gave it to her when he retired. She considered Dane very much a mentor and strove to emulate him, especially his calmness under fire (from which his nickname was derived). She saved his life on his last operation with the Wild Boys, in an action that earned her a Silver Star.
