Being against the word queer IS a terf ideology. It encompasses trans and nonbinary identities and different sexualities without being specific. Terfs hate this because they want to exclude trans people. Why is that so hard to understand? They’re militant about having specific labels to prove you’re a “good lgbt person” and not “doing it to be trendy” so they fight against people identifying as queer. It’s literally a terf ideology. That’s fairly widely known.
its not being “against the word q---r” to tag it as a slur. its a legitimate identity and theres nothing wrong with people using it, but it needs to also be acknowledged as a slur. its impossible for the entire community to reclaim it, especially when people still have it used against them. it’s also not terf ideology. there are trans women who have been called it too, who dont want to have it used for them or to see it abruptly without a warning.
