Your Radiance

Yet again in darkness I stayed,

Out in the open, that's where I played.

Until you showed up, with your sunny smile,

And banished the darkness with it for a while.

Radiance from you will always heal any scar,

Endless light from you can create a star.

Truth and lies, I told you many,

However, you never told a lie, not even any.

Evening it was, when you said the word,

Sincere and honest, and it made my world.

When I heard it, from happiness, I fainted,

Eager and free, I thought I was sainted.

Enough of this, you are my one,

Through thick and thin, you'll be my sun.

Even now, I cannot believe,

Such a wonderful person is in love with me.

Truer words cannot be said, my love for you will never end.

Almost Love

I loved you in silence, In pauses, In spaces you never noticed.

You smiled at the world, I smiled at you.

You never noticed the chair that stayed empty, In dreams I dressed for two.

I never asked for anything— But still, You took everything Without ever knowing.

I have people.

Good ones.

They make me laugh.

They listen when the world gets too loud.

They show up.

And yet,

There are moments I disappear.

On purpose.

Not out of anger. Not sadness. Not even exhaustion.

Just this quiet need to be unreachable.

To let my skin settle after too much noise.

Because even with closeness,

sometimes I feel like I have no one.

Not in the dramatic, echoing kind of way.

Just in the soft ache that no one fully sees me in the way I need.

It’s not loneliness the way it’s written in poems.

Not the kind that begs to be held or fixed or filled.

It’s a loneliness I carry like a soft shawl

draped around me when my thoughts are too loud and everything else feels like static.

Sometimes I sit in it.

Let it hold me instead.

Silence wraps around me, time slows, everything softens.

And it doesn’t mean I’m breaking.

It doesn’t mean I want someone to knock on my door and ask what’s wrong.

It just means this is how I survive.

By pulling away to remember who I am

beneath the noise,

beneath the jokes,

beneath the trying,

and beneath the loneliness no one quite notices.

And sometimes, loving me means letting me vanish for a little while

so I can return whole.

And when I do,

the world steps back just enough,

for quiet to take shape in me,

Like solitude rinsed the noise from my skin

я не влюбляюсь «по плану»,

меня нет в их списках.

я — тень за стеклом,

где все знают,

кого можно любить.

я смеюсь не вовремя.

я говорю «я тоже»,

но мне не верят.

в групповых чатах —

молчание вместо меня.

бывает,

я чувствую себя чужой

даже среди своих.

а всё, что я хочу —

это руки,

что не спросят

«так кто тебе нравится —

мальчики или девочки?»

я отвечу:

да.

🌸 и может быть,

в этом мире,

где всё делят пополам,

мне всё же найдётся

место.

i don’t fall in love “on schedule,”

i’m not on their lists.

i’m a shadow behind glass,

where everyone seems to know

who’s okay to love.

i laugh at the wrong time.

i say “me too,”

but no one believes me.

in group chats,

there’s silence where I should be.

sometimes,

i feel like a stranger

even around my own.

and all I want —

is a pair of hands

that won’t ask,

“so do you like boys or girls?”

i’ll answer:

yes.
