it became obvs that this was a grand trial the second charizard was healed and tapu fini tossed a z-crystal at kiawe, but like....was the entire thing set up beforehand? did....tapu fini enlist tapu lele, and that’s why it responded to kiawe’s call so quickly? and insisted on having a battle first?? (bc i did find that a tad convenient)

huh....well, rip to ash and gladion, bc kiawe got a trial with tapu fini first, and in the midst of it also battled tapu lele

(i mean, ash is still in the lead, vis a vis battling the tapus, bc he’s already battled koko and bulu)

i wonder.....did the ghosts of hapu and kiawe’s grandfathers make some kind of deal, and agree to help each other’s grandchildren reach their potential? is hapu going to be getting her own spiritual visitor soon?
