skater girl sophie. please. i want it so badly. just, just sophie, carrying her skateboard everywhere because it's a comfort object like ella, and learning to use it on all the different surfaces of the lost cities, and strictly wearing flannels and beanies, and skating around havenfield and atlantis, and when she's called for her 39488392th tribunal she just rolls up to the podium, flips the counsel off, and rolls back out, and keefe being an absolute menace and demands that she teach him how to do it, but he's awful at it and not nearly as cool as his girlfriend, but that's okay, he's settled for just making jazz hands every time she skates into a room
hmmmm. sokeefe headcanons in regards to how sophie and keefe (could/should) bond over the differences and similarities in the forbidden cities? (small ex to get the ball rolling if you need it: sophie calling these fries, vs keefe possibly calling them chips because of how much time he spent in london)
i saw this and immediately liked your idea. i mulled over it for like five minutes then decided to do it later but the second i left tumblr i had an idea. my brain hates me.
ANYWAY
i was thinking maybe sophie and keefe had a black swan mission that took them to the forbidden cities, probably somewhere in the states. they decide to go eat something to blend in better and sophie, as a side for something, decides to order fries. so after the waiter leaves, keefe asks, "what are fries," and sophie says, "oh, y'know, like the potato stick things that are deep fried." and keefe says, "you mean chips?" and sophie's like, "oh i forgot you were in london." keefe says, "what do you mean." sophie then explains that some things have different names in different countries. keefe smirks and says, "the mysterious miss F just got a lot more mysterious," and sophie gets red because so many people are in earshot and also it's keefe and she likes the nickname lmao. keefe manages to get her to explain more and just listens to her because i'm just now realizing that it's a great headcanon that keefe likes to hear sophie talk about things in the forbidden cities. and obviously they leave the restaurant with keefe making sophie promise to buy him EL fudges.
- Keefe traces the little star shaped scar on Sophie's hand while they cuddle, and he tells her how brave she is and what ana amazing job she's doing
- they love to bake together, and almost always end up in flour fights. Keefe has eaten a large amount of flour in his life because of this
- sometimes they'll sneak off to the forbidden cities for a day out, and Sophie shows him all of her favorite things
- she was never able to do anything really fancy or expensive as a kid because her family wasn't super wealthy, but they exchange lusters for human money and go to see Broadway shows and all the things she'd always wanted to do growing up
- he's really touch-starved, so they're almost always touching in some way. Holding hands, holding pinkies, piggy back rides, all that good stuff
- they try to fly with silveny at least once a week, which always ends in a make out session in the air
- Keefe tries to teach Sophie to draw and paint, but she's not great at it. In the end they both end up covered in paint and out of breath from laughing
- they have a constant game going on where they try to throw food into each others mouths and catch it. Their current streak is 27 in row
- they have human movie nights where Sophie shows Keefe all of her favorite movies
A/N: Soooo I haven’t written anything in forever cause I’ve been really burnt out, but then an anon on @theunmappedstar pointed out that I wish you would by taylor swift is like Sophie to Keefe after unlocked, which I wholeheartedly agree with, and it also made me realize that how you get the girl would fit perfectly as a reunion between them, and was thrown into writing this. It’s super short, but it gave me an excuse to listen to taylor swift on repeat, so definitely worth my time.
Pairing: sokeefe

Just when Sophie had completely given up on Keefe coming back, just when she’d stopped looking for him in every crowd, stopped using her spyball every chance she got, and stopped reassuring the others that he hadn’t really abandoned them, the doorbell rang.
And, in the way things always seem to work out, there stood Keefe Sencen, so pale he looked like a ghost, shaking in the rain. His normally perfectly mussed hair was plastered to his face with water, and his clothes were soaking wet.
“Are you insane?!” was the only thing that was able to come out of her mouth. After an eternity of crying and wondering and having to fight all of this alone, he had the nerve to show up at her door. And at the same time, she was so, so glad to see him there.
“It’s been a long six months, huh Foster?” Part of her wanted to tackle him into a hug right then and there, but the other part, the angry, hurt, broken part, held her back. He winced a little at her face, but took a step towards her. “I know I was wrong. I know I hurt you. But please hear me out here, because I’m finally not afraid to tell you what I want.”
She nodded, just the tiniest bit. He took that as his cue.
“Sophie, I,” He took a breath. “I want you, for worse or for better. I’d wait forever and ever if you asked me to. I know I broke your heart, but I’ll put it back together. I swear, I’d wait for you forever.”
“What?” She remembered the way it used to be. Before he left her and the world fell apart. The pictures he’d painstakingly drawn her, still in their frames in her room. The way he’d slung his arm across her shoulder, and how it was one of the only places she felt safe. The joking way he’d flirted with her, making her cheeks light up, that had maybe been more serious than she’d thought. All of the tiny gestures that he tried to use to tell her he loved her.
But did she love him too?
The answer came rushing to the front of her mind, as if it had been there, waiting, the whole time. Of course. Of course she loved this broken, beautiful boy.
“Keefe?”
He lifted his still perfectly ice blue eyes from the ground, staring right at her.
“I guess that’s how you get the girl.”
As she leaned in, the world melted away. I was him and her, her lips against his, and his warmth flooding into her. All either of them had ever wanted.
So I've been rereading kotlc, and I noticed this when Sophie is talking about her old room.
For some reason tumblr is being weird and not posting it the right angle, but whatever.
The point is: Sophie's old human room was pale blue. Which is really another word for ice blue. You know, traditionally, kids paint their room their favorite color. And I know she got all crazy over Fitz and it changed to teal, but before meeting him....
