I headcanon him as Sandstorm’s littermate, so I tried to make them look similar while not sacrificing too much of what makes Longtail Longtail in my eyes.

Design notes!

Mullet man!

Sleek coat with only a few ruffs of messier fur here and there.

Lithe, lanky build, with a solid stance.

Narrow face and especially tall ears.

Elegantly and especially long tail (obviously).

Entirely symmetrical in markings.

Scarring includes: “V” shaped nick in his right ear from Firestar. (Bonus: Rabbit scratches!)

hello! i have a question. i know sokoke tabby is a type of classic tabby but what is its allele and where is it? is it just a mutation of mcmc?

Sokoke tabby is the typical pattern of the Sokoke cat, which are by breed standard classics with ticking in the markings. If anything, the variant may be caused by an agouti mutation. Mc determines the overall shape of the pattern, and they still have normal classic tabby shaped markings, so it is unlikely to be related to that. It could also be polygenic, since I've received some photos of randombreds with a bit more ticking than is typical in their markings.

The trait could be pretty easily tested to learn more about it, although the information is probably already known from breed development. It just isn't listed anywhere public that I can find, so it may be worth contacting the breed club to see if they have more info.
