☀ ! @solarkm to this.
It had been ages since she had put her eyes on Yongsun. The mere sight of her was a satisfaction, especially when Marie saw her on tv. It felt lovely to see her perform. She had a crush for her voice -- and for all good voices, on that matter -- but Yongsun was more than simply a voice. She was a friend. And even though Marie wanted to cry out loud what had happened to her the past months, she wouldn’t. No. She couldn’t. It was way too much to worry the latter who was at the peek of her career. She smiled as she moved her slim arms around the girl’s shoulders, bringing her closer to her. It felt good to hug someone sometimes, even if it had been for something small. A hug felt good, comfortable and lovely. She smiled shortly as she felt a little better to have someone giving her comfort. Lately she had been feeling way too clingy, needing some caring and protection.
“It’s fine, it’s fine. You were working.” She patted her back reassuringly before shrugging a shoulder and leaning a bit backwards. “It’s been around five months I think. I think we last saw when you were on we got married. Not quite sure.” She laughed. She wasn’t at all mad with her friend because she’d always act as she always did, no matter what time got them apart. It wasn’t their fault. It was destiny and time working against them. And she would not judge the girl for such dumb reason. Especially Marie which, despite of not working in k-industry, she would still be very busy. So she would not judge her friend. Instead she wanted to appreciate every free time the both had.
“Nicholas Sparks?” She raised a brow as she moved from the girl’s embrace. She had to be kidding. Marie did love romantic movies, but not those. Not Nicholas Sparks’ movies. She smiled a bit and moved her hand up as she shook it quickly. “We can watch an history documentary or even better, we could go see La La Land. But you’re not going to find me, Hwan Maaria, watching that man’s movies. They are so awfully cringe worthy. Not to mention the love stories are too unrealistic. I’m sorry Solar-ssi. But I think we need to do something else, keeping the food in mind of course.”
