Casdash: Ahhhhhhhh I'm dreaming. What is this? What happened? Am I dead?

Lavellan: Omg, Solas we are in a dream together. I mean, I was going to dream about this anyway, but...in a different way...👀

Adaar: Oh, I'm amazed this dream is big enough.

I had a solavellan dream just now which is unusual but it was so... good?

Post-trespasser. I was aware he was "evil."

I was invited to a huge ball on behalf of Alistair but I was super uncomfortable. Solas ended up coming and trying to avoid him was like trying to stop the tide. He kept pushing, trying to talk to me, to give me advice. I wasnt sitting and eating like a normal person, I was up pacing the room, making the very least amount of small talk acceptable.

But this let me catch onto a neighboring king's plot to overthrow ferelden.

Before I could do anything with this info, solas cornered me again and in my panic I ran out to get fresh air.

(I'm starting to forget fine details which is a travesty you guys. This was such a good dream, I'm so angry i couldn't continue it.)

While I was outside, I caught onto a plot to attack the ball. Solas, who had followed me to try to talk to me and varric and Dorian who had come to protect me from solas, overheard it, too. The three of us ran back to find the attackers and quell their plot before they could harm Alistair or anyone else. We ended up being too late and found the ball in the midst of battle so we jumped in to defend the people.

Partway through, I realized solas wasnt fighting as actively or as well as he could have and I realized. Oh shit. This is his doing. So I turned my attacks to him and YALL. The depth of surprise, confusion, hurt, betrayal, and then the transformation to cold understanding and acknowledgement that passed across his face was so goddamn beautifully constructed. I give MAD props to my subconscious because holy mother goddamn.

So you know how in movies when 2 people dance together and everything else disappears and it's just the 2 of them and no one else? That happened while we fought. And it was so devastating and so beautiful and so visceral I could never hope to put it into words.

Right before I woke up, I had my staff held against his and our faces were fairly close, close enough he could speak in low tones to me. And his face grew so sad, so forlorn and miserable beyond even when he breaks up with us. His ears tipped back, his age showed in the way his face wrinkled, and his staff slackened ever just the slightest bit, and he said, "you are so beautiful."

And THEN I FUCKING WOKE UP CAN YOU BELIEVE IT??? TO SAY I AM SHOCKED AND OFFENDED IS A GODDAMN UNDERSTATEMENT.

Solas dreams again

I, tbh, hate having Solas dreams? I mean, they're cool and all, but they also make me question reality for a little bit and it's a bit unsettling, even more so than the nightmares. Okay, geez, what was it all about this time? Hmm... There was a dalish girl and Solas. Im not entirely sure of their relationship, but they were fond of each other. At times, the girl was mature, serious, playful in a grown-up way? And other times she was a child, curious, and she would move on all fours like some kids do? She glowed too, every once in a while. Her eyes, her tattoos, turning blinding white. Solas, at times, was regular hobo Solas, the fade nerd we all knew and loved. Then he was dread wolf Solas from Tresspasser, a bit cold and closed off, back too straight for the burden he has to carry. Anyway, Indont remember much of what actually happens. Theres a fight, maybe a battle, and a lot of people die. Solas teaches the girl how to read. Solas goes into one of her nightmares, i think. And the girl knows of Solas's plan to tear down the Veil...thats what its called right? My dragon age knowledge is a bit rusty. Anyway, shes okay with his plan. Until she actually thinks of all the people that would die. And theres this book? I dont know what the book is, but its important to Solas and they fight. "I can't just let you destroy the world." And she takes the book? She goes back to Solas at some point though, im assuming she actually read the book or something cause shes all "This is the story you'll tell?" And Solas, all dread wolfy in those golden leggings of his, kinda just smiles gently? He was always gentle with her. "If that is what you want, da'len." Like hes handing the fate of the world to this girl and he'll be satisfied with whatever she chooses? And thats that. I dont remember what she chose. Uhg. Solas dreams. So confusing.

OH MY GOD I JUST REMEMBERED THAT MY DREAM LAST NIGHT WAS LITERALLY ABOUT ME BEING STUCK IN A TIME LOOP WHICH IS GREAT BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT ONE OF MY CURRENT STORIES IS ABOUT BUT ALSO NOT BECAUSE THAT STORY IS FULL OF STRIFE AND PAIN AND ALSO BECAUSE I THINK SOLAS WAS IN IT AND I CAN'T REMEMBER WHAT WE WERE DOING??
