Surprise Solavellan doodle!
Doodles
[Written for the April Fools Bodyswap where fanfic writers do art and fanartists write fanfiction. This is pretty much the first time I posted fanfiction online so yeah, feel free to laugh at my writing but at the same time, I hope you enjoy my little attempt!]
Solavellan, SFW, Fluff
Summary: Solas catches Tala doodling on her travel journal and sees something a little unexpected.
On AO3
After a long day of closing Rifts and battling against demons, Red Templars, and the Freemen of the Dales; Tala and her party have set up camp in the Emerald Graves. With a travel journal in hand and a piece of charcoal in another, Tala decided to pick a quiet spot underneath a nearby tree to collect her thoughts and take down notes on the day’s activities.
She opened her journal, flipping through it to find a blank page. It amused her greatly as she realized that her poor excuse for a travel journal mostly consisted of doodles and sketches. Products of boredom which happened each time she attempted to write down her accounts of suspicious Red Templar or Venatori activities.
She smiled to herself, set herself down against the tree and proceeded to write. It wasn’t long until she went from writing a report on Fairbanks to suddenly doodling a picture of an August Ram.
“You seem very concentrated on your work, vhenan.”

Hooray more fluff because I don’t have enough time to work on Promise
quick doodle based on this prompt:
Homeboy’s got dirty elf feet too, but you don’t see him waving them in people’s faces, do ya? Lethallan pls.
She smiled like the sunrise, blinding, utterly impossible and beautiful. Tears were streaming down her cheeks as her hands extended to him from across the street, palms up. Her face, every single perfect line of it, the eyes he’d always known and never seen before watery, but full of joy. The shock had stalled him, chest tight and painful, until she broke it with a single gesture. Her hands curled, fingers tucking in.
Beckoning.
Somnium, chapter 13 - Hourglass - @anachromystic
Aaaaaand, the End.
I’m trash. Solavellan AUs are forever my favorite things in the world. And it’s Friday, so I can finally post this big fluffy thing I’ve been working on all week.
I’m still not over this chapter.
No. There isn’t “another half of the story”. Nope. No more tears Ana. They met and I’m happy ;_; I can’t hear you over the sound of my happiness.
Catch the Sun Tonight
Solavellan SFW - for Solas Fluff Friday and @malsweeklychallenge. Prompt: Catch me.
He believes this must be a dream born of the Fade.
Moonlight streams like silver banners through the night air with grass so soft beneath his feet it seems as if he does not step at all but floats. Living stars of light pulse and dance about his head, lovers calling to each other without sound. The night belongs to them and the lazy chirps and strings of other insects conducting a timeless symphony for it is sunlight that he longs for.
She wears layers of yellow and red that shine against the dark walls of the maze around them. He catches flashes of her as she pauses around a corner, long fingers sliding through ivy and beckoning him to give chase. When he rounds the next bend he sees her cape cast upon the ground and pauses to run the silk through his fingers, picturing the feel of her skin instead. She leaves him a trail to follow - crystal encrusted slippers, a boned bodice of gold, jewelry weaved into the hedges, her laughter as he stumbles upon her dress last.
He finally finds her in the center of the labyrinth laid back and bare beneath the velvet sky, but the night cannot claim her. For him she glows, with bright smile and eyes that have lead him through the darkest of places. She is the sun that never sets, the warmth upon his face and the heat inside his heart. A hand reaches out and he waits for her to drift apart and his eyes to open, for this moment could only exist in whispers and hopes.
But when she says his name, loud and clear and loving, she stays, and it is a greater wonder to know that this dream is real. He falls into her embrace, catching the sun within his hands, and worships her beneath the moon.
