My IMBOLC set up for this year ☀️❤
For me purple has always been the color of a softly setting sun, or the break of a dawn that will fade to gold with the warm sun. With that being said I thought long and hard about which stones would help me commemorate this passage of time from Winter to Spring.
White Calcite ~ White Calcite helps cleanse your aura, heal your chakras, and is the stone of new beginnings. White Calcite helps dissolve pain, both physically and emotionally. (I wish I had more of this amazing stone! The stone itself feels waxy, almost soft in your hand but the ENERGY it carries is incredibly strong.)
Quartz~ Emotional healing properties of clear quartz dispel feelings of negativity while encouraging positive feelings and thoughts, balancing benefits in keeping with clear quartz meaning. Clear quartz enhances awareness and improves one's perceptions. Energy levels are increased, thought processes are improved and clarified. (This is one of my favorite stones! The Ancient Greeks thought it was ice that had been blessed by the Gods to never thaw. Which is a part of why I chose it for Imbolc, with the coming of Winter's thaw I find the fance between Winter & Spring to be almost hypnotic. )
Flourite ~ This is a highly protective healing stone. It cleanses and stabilizes the aura and purifies disorder. It grounds and integrates spiritual energies and heightens intuitive powers. It also promotes self-love and can remove blockages and narrow-mindedness, bringing in new ideas and creativity.
Amythest~ This crystal attracts positive energy and helps in removing negative emotions such as fear, depression, and anxiety. Amethyst crystal therapies are primarily associated with physical ailments of the nervous system, the curing of nightmares and insomnia, and balancing the crown chakra. (As someone who deals with a mental health battle, Amethyst has been a huge help for me.)
Along with all of these stones, I laid dried orchid flowers across the altar as a reminder than even when petals fall to thr ground there is still beauty to behold. In ancient Greece, orchids were associated with virility. I hope to carry this strength and boldness with me through the next rotaion of the wheel ❤☀️
Sending love and light to all.
