I'm not terribly disappointed. I was going for the "book you could read on the plane and no one would know what it is by the cover" look.

The only advice I can impart is that the one you’ll note as the “leader of the pack” is particularly voracious with regard to bacon - I mean, all of them are, but we’re talking red alert with this one, it’s a don’t-feed-the-Mogwai-after-midnight situation, absolute mayhem, pay no attention to the innocence he’ll display and cajoling he’ll attempt, it’s not worth it. He’s sneaky. Gird your fridge.

IT'S THAT TIME AGAIN, Y'ALL!!!!

That's right, I'm talking about the @deancasbigbang!!!

This year, I was paired with the lovely @cl0vesmoke to illustrate her tremendous work, Where the Wild Things Are, inspired by the Luke Combs song of the same title. (Seriously, if you haven't heard it, whether you like country music or not, go listen to it. Then read this fic and try not to ugly cry. You'll fail, but you can still try.)

It had to be kismet, because the first time I heard that song, I was jonesing to Destiel it. I just couldn't get around the one major hurdle, and so it has sat in the back of my mind, poking at me every single time it comes across my playlist. And then when the claims gallery dropped and I saw the title...my brain tingled. There it was, someone else had written it. I didn't have to kill anyone this time. Wheee!!! (I'm still not over my SPNMBB, sue me.)

Truly, this fic is a work of art on its own. I do not feel adequate to illustrate it in the way that it deserves. I've done my best, hopefully it's enough.
