The best thing about the Overwatch fandom is that there’s no such thing as Weird Ships, you know? Like, if someone ever asks me, for example: “Why do you ship Ashe/Sombra? They haven’t even met.” I can’t get discouraged by it. I just point over to McHanzo, the most popular ship in the fandom, and say: “Well, these two have never met and nobody seems to care, so I don’t have to care either.”

tl;dr: The existence of McHanzo makes it so that anyone can ship anything without shame because if the fandom’s #1 ship can be nonsensical and indulgent then anything goes!

I know a while ago LosDeadlock was a possible alternate ship name for McSombra ... but now that we have Ashe, OT3 name anyone?

Sombra / Ashe headcanons because fucking nobody else is

-They met when Talon sent Sombra to get blackmail material on Deadlock

-Sombra cannot sneak up on Ashe. Ever. Even cloaked. Ashe always knows. Doesn’t stop her from trying.

-Ashe won’t tell her how she knows. This frustrates Sombra immensely.

-They bite and nibble as much as they kiss.

-Sometimes Sombra will put on the old Los Muertos glowy makeup for special nights with Ashe.

-Sometimes Ashe will put on her Socialite skin on these nights...kind of like a highway robber/noblewoman roleplay

-They have a movie night and Sombra suggests a western. Ashe shoots it down immediately. She doesn’t like westerns anymore. They remind her of watching them with McCree.

-Instead they watch “Some Like It Bot”. Ashe loves it. Sombra hates it.

-Halfway through the next movie Sombra falls asleep with her head in Ashe’s lap

-Ashe was surprised when she first saw Sombra’s spinal implant, but not repulsed

-She likes caressing it when they cuddle, along with the implants on her head

-Sombra likes tracing Ashe’s tattoos, either with her fingers or her mouth

-Sombra is convinced that B.O.B. doesn’t like her

-B.O.B. is convinced that Sombra doesn’t like him

-Sombra’s idea of a romantic gift is blackmail information on rival gangs, tips on what the authorities are doing, etc

-Ashe is completely okay with this

-She still likes to give traditional romantic gifts, though

-Sombra finds a boquet of lavender roses the next time she tries sneaking into Ashe’s base when she’s away

-She REALLY wants to know how Ashe knows when she‘s being sneaky
