I love these tags bc it gives me the excuse to talk more about my really specific headcanons XD
The necklace is actually from Skid's father and he keeps it after his "death" as a way to have something to remember him bc most of the photos of him are damaged and this is one of the few that is intact, it looks like a cult necklace to symbolize that is from his dad.
How he wears it as time passes
The left one is the design I have of him from the short "Kevin's dream job" since he's really small and his dad's death is really recent he just never let it go, always around his hand like someone is going to take it from him
The right one is the design I have for him as we see him in the series, since he has grown a little and his dad's death has cold down a little he wears it more normally but he's still too little so he do a little loop around his neck (don't try this pls XD) I hc Skid's dad as really tall and his necklace is made to fit him so for Skid is just too long. Lila has said to him to not wear it like that bc it is dangerous, he does it anyway XD

He's more tall now so he can wear it without being a danger to himself, is supposed to be a little down than how someone actually uses a necklace but is ok he's still growing XD

I thought of cialinkle as a bit of a joke ship for the zelgan hyrule warriors fic I want to write someday but the more I think about it the more I really like it. Both of these characters put Link on a pedestal - Cia wants to possess him and Linkle wants to be him - so I think it would be interesting to see them learn to put that aside together and accept who they really are/what they really want.
(Or at least that's how I see it... I really should play HW story mode again, I barely remember Linkle's chapters haha)

yes!! in fact, i made an outline for a rewrite that i may or may not post in the distant future. also, i apologize for incongruence with accepted lore or interpretations. i read some creepypastas years ago, but i am only just now dipping my toe into the waters of this fandom (>.<)
headcanons and details from my au/rewrite:
toby happens to have tourettes, and he just so happens to have an ableist supervillain name given to him by the cosmos for no apparent reason (aka it plays no role his story)
he does not have cipa, bpd, or schizophrenia. he does have ocd and anxiety, which is partly the reason that he gnaws at his hands/cheek
his father is a big hunting guy and they "bond" by hunting on their farm
he enjoys and is quite good at axe throwing
he loves deer, but now the sight of them makes him uncomfortable
he drools profusely when sleeping because of the scar on his face. he also does that saliva slurping sound every other minute because of it
he quickly befriends nina (however reluctantly) and then jeff when he is recruited as a proxy. he and nina grow close (listener-yapper duo)
His first impression of jeff was through nina. he thought jeff would be the most awesomest dude bro of all time, but he was thoroughly disappointed
he hates his job as a proxy and feels disconnected from his new companions
has a complex relationship with HABIT and cant seem to get away from him
