I hit up the VIP opening of the @laartshow last night thanks to the generosity of my friend @heidijo_la aka @hijinxarts! My art collecting goal for this year is to get the rest of the #HalopiggCollection from my mom’s to the west coast, but trying not to add new art is tough. Needless to say I wasn’t planning on buying anything last night, but when I saw these works by @myahmazcara at @sallycentigrade, the price was too nice to pass up! They have a handful of pieces from this series left and based on the 🔴’s I saw last night I’d get over there today to secure one! #StreetArtOnThisDate! In 2015 I was invited by the @brooklynmuseum to attend @faileart’s #SavageSacredYoungMinds exhibit in an #EmptyBrooklynMuseum! Myself and a small handful of people, including my longtime homie and the photographer of this flick @shtexclamation, got to tour the museum for a few hours before it was open to the public! Looking back at my pics today I’m seeing that I shot almost everything on my iPhone because I wasn’t comfortable using my better camera indoors. I’m still not an expert at indoor art photography but I know now to always shoot with the good camera and the phone! This is one of the salvaged #SonyA6000 pics from that day, a #SomeoneElsie inside the #DeluxxFluxx area of the exhibit!
