(For the context, demonic possession in this universe can occur when an individual is in an extremely vulnerable state—which can either be mentally or physically.
In Nezha’s case, there was some issues that had occurred during his childbirth which led the infant to the brink of death. Somehow his fighting spirit to cling onto life has attracted that of Mowan, who decides to infuse himself within Nezha.
Nezha grew up as a possessed child as an result, whose frequent demonic episodes led to Chentang Guan’s unrest.
Ao Bing and loongs in this AU are a group of people who are blessed with the inherent power of demon expelling, thus leading to Ao Guang making deals with the church to become loyal exorcists who will commit to the good deeds of ridding demons.
In order to follow Ao Guang’s footstep, Ao Bing was assigned to help the Li family out with getting rid of Nezha’s demon—however many complication seems to occur between the fact the demon Nezha has is very closely tied to him…and that he may be catching some feelings…sinful ones…)
