@shredsandpatches right, I haven't forgotten either of those things. Falstaff's rank was actually one of the things Cae and I were discussing in relation to all of this. Ned's class is one of the things we've been debating and also I was trying to list all the known employees of the Boar's Head (we have a lot of time on our hands okay). I'm such a stickler for historical accuracy that working with source material that is anachronistic is a pain in the butt (which of course is a measurement of liquid, which leads me back to where I started.)
