The last son of darkness, Adar.
And then he cried out, in a voice so filled with anguish that it seemed to tear a jagged hole in the night air. This unhuman scream was joined by a chorus of shrieks as the Great Ravens exploded into flight, lifting like a massive feathered veil that whirled above the street, and then began a spinning descent. Cultists flinched away and crouched against building walls, their wordless chant drowned beneath the caterwauling cacophony of this black, glistening shroud that swept down like a curtain.
Dassem staggered back, and then pitched drunkenly to one side, his sword dragging in his wake, point skirling a snake track across the cobbles. He was brought up short by a pitted wall, and he sagged against it, burying his face in the shelter of a crooked arm that seemed to be all that held him upright.
Broken. Broken. They are broken.
Oh, gods forgive them, they are broken.
Karsa Orlong shocked her then, as he twisted to one side and pointedly spat on to the street. "Cheated," he said. "Cheated!"
She stared at him, aghast. She did not know what he meant – but no, she did. Yes, she did. "Karsa, what just happened?" Wrong, it was wrong. "I saw – I saw—"
"You saw true," he said, baring his teeth, his gaze fixed upon that fallen body. "As did Traveller, and see what it has done to him."

Posting the next chapter of this (FINALLY) on Friday! Just resharing what I have up so far :) We’ll finally get to the creation of the knights, and we’ll have to suffer through some of Snoke’s horrid ass, but unfortunately, the way he gaslights Ben I think is the huge part of what got him to become Kylo Ren. I hope you guys enjoy it, this fic means a lot to me <3 ““Did you come to save my soul?!” It sounded like Ben shouted the question right beside the bed, startling Luke awake. He flipped on the reading lamp beside his bed to see the room was empty. That same darkness had returned, but was stronger by tenfold than the night before. He could feel it slithering like a thousand inky black tendrils creeping through the air to wrap him in their clammy grip . He dressed quickly, determined to escort Shara off the planet immediately if she had anything to do with whatever this was. His conscience, though, told him that he only wished she had... that he knew who was responsible the whole time, even when he blamed her for any actions regarding his nephew. Yet again he found himself rushing to the padawan huts under the moonlight- but the darkness didn’t recoil this time. It pulsed proudly, taunting him with its existence.“
Star Wars Episode IX possible title!
Sooo... We know that Snoke in “The force awakens” in a sentence told us that the next movie, ep VIII, was titled “The last Jedi”.
And again, it was Snoke the one who explained the title “The force awakens” in the same film.
They told us that the title for ep IX was in the last jedi.
If this is a syllogism, then it’s probable that, again, it was Snoke the one who said the right words.
I searched for the script and now I have some Hypothetical title:
1) “Son of Darkness”
Son of Darkness could be a possibility.
Kylo is proud to be the grandson of Darth Vader, he wanted to finish what his grandfather started.
“The last jedi ended” with Kylo still in the First Order and as the Supreme Leader.
“Son of darkness” could show the start of this part of the story.
Kylo has to take the role as supreme leader, and probably he will use his status as Snoke’s apprentice and as heir of Darth Vader, showing his bloodline and how he is a son of the dark side.
2) “In the light would rise” or “the light would rise” or simply “the light rises”.
Now, I have to be honest. I don’t really think that this kinds of titles could be possible, but I want to talk about it.
With the first two titles we see a possibility, the light may rise and this shows us that Kylo and Rey are not just in the dark side or in the light side.
They have both sides inside them. But I don’t think “in the light would rise” or “the light would rise” can be a fact, because there is too indecision, too hesitation...
The last, “the light rises” instead, could be a possibility. It shows us star wars attachment to his own roots.
With this title we could find memories of Luke who saved Anakin with his love and brought peace with his light.
But even this is not the right choice, in my opinion. Simply because with “the force awakens” and “the last jedi” we saw that the light side brought a world that was in peace just for a few years and then the dark side showed up again.
There is need for a balance.
The galaxy is not just dark or light, the galaxy is a picture with billions of shades.
“Hope lives in the galaxy”
This is by far my favourite hypothetical title. And in my opinion the most probable one. This because “hope lives in the galaxy” is the perfect summary of star wars, not only the sequel trilogy.
But analyzing just ep VII and ep VIII:
Hope is something the Dark Side fears.
“The force awakens” starts with Kylo searching for Luke. First Order wants Luke dead, because if Luke is alive, people will think that someday he will show up and fix the situation.
If Luke is alive there is still hope for the Jedis and for the galaxy.
Rey is that spark of hope everyone needed when Luke disappeared. (And in my opinion she is the spark of hope for Ben too.)
Hope is the only thing that can prevent the galaxy to fall body and soul under First Order control.
When Rose said to Finn: “We’re gonna win not fighting what we hate, but saving what we love.” she gave hope to Finn and to us viewers too. Love is the most powerful Force.
And, in the end, the last scene of “The last Jedi” shows us children.
Children are the most used metaphor for Future.
An used expression says that “Children are the hope of the future.”
And this is why The darkness can’t win. Hope is the last to die, Hope is that thing none can kill.
One of this children is a force user and this means that no matter how much the dark side will try; there will always be a Luke Skywalker or a Rey who will bring hope.
Simply, hope lives in the galaxy and it will live forever.

THIS IS REALLY GOOD.
There is no moodboard for this and I can’t find this author on Tumblr, but this is a completed fic that I’m about halfway through and it’s hard to put down. If you are looking for completed Reylo fics, I suggest this one.
