For the requests: when I saw your post I thought of Blair as the “spare coochie, ma’am?” meme and so I’m just gonna suggest Blair as any meme :’D
You give me the best ideasa ever! HAHAHA And for Blair I always think of her like that meme of Despicable me!
I struggled a lot with shading but also perspective with regard to the pose if that makes sense (i.e. her knee is supposed to be a bent forward, the elbow on the right is supposed to be behind her, the hand on the bat is supposed to be closer to the viewer, etc but I don’t think that is conveyed well). If you guys could focus on that when redlining I would appreciate it ;o;
There’s a lot of overlapping anatomy here, which can be difficult to discern if you’re not all too accustomed to foreshortening. Deconstructing your sketches all the way down to the barest of bones can simplify the process. Sticks connected to dots or circles maps out the exact position of your joints. Then slapping your cylinders and cubes on top to flesh out the body’s structure more, will help visualize the foreshortening. The latter step can take some fidgeting around, so keeping your different sketch layers separate is a good thing. Learning how to foreshorten depends on your ability to observe the body parts and knowing their motion. This can be achieved by doing croquis drawings, or simply looking up references, and taking careful note of what’s visible of your desired model and what isn’t. As for the shading, you didn’t notify exactly where the light source was. So, I ‘ll be linking you to a couple of posts regarding shading, that can hopefully get you introduced to mapping out your shadows. https://theredlinestation.tumblr.com/post/180562476178/ive-been-trying-more-semi-realism-lately-and-i

James Herondale as an infant being held by Tessa and chided by William.
Also what’s your stance on gender bends? I have some decent AU ideas for the Malec genderbends but sihxsknxkxj I know some people take issue w the concept
I don’t have problems with genderbends! I have no problems with this kind of ideas for AUs ♥
Sneak Peek!
A sneak peek of the fan fiction I'm writing as a part of my request for prompts, no context whatsoever:
He glanced besides him to notice James giving him a knowing stare with his disconcerting side slitted yellow pupils.
“What do you want?” Alastair mumbled. James screeched at him and wandered off, to Alastair’s immense chagrin.

The door to Alastair’s room shut and they fumbled together to lock it. Matthew took deep laboured breaths between kisses and groaned when Alastair pushed him against the door. Alastair gasped and shushed Matthew, but instead it made him giggle madly.
Alastair Carstairs and also remembering I’m gay make me happy :3c
