Sky was the first astronaut of a planet in another dimension, ordered to find a new home planet as the current war and Infinite taking control was risking the life of the modians in said universe.
(For context, Infinite was traveling across dimensions and back in time to harness the pure chaos energy when it wasn't combined into crystals, more on that if someone asks for it)
Sky ended up using what chaos energy she had to travel through dimensions and other galaxies, as no one was aware of the extent of the power of the chaos energy, so it was unpredictable and that's why it was under so much protection and pressure to preserve.
Sky's home planet ended up getting destroyed by Infinite and she crashed on the moon in the current dimension, where her final travel left a giant energy surge (big explosions ooo) which jostled every radar on Earth, which sent the government and the Space Colony ARK to investigate. Her quills and equipment was found on the moon, which the ARK hid from the government and used to create the base for Shadows DNA, later on using Black Arms DNA.
Very small remnants of the pure chaos energy shards was found, and was heavily monitored and tested on by the ARK, which was later improved on.
