The Ultimate Sonic Ships Tier List (+500 Ships)

A remake of a Tier List I made a while ago, now with many more ships 😃😅

Level 1: My Babies 💖 + other ships I think are good, but I don't consider myself a super fan.

Level 2: Ships I support, but platonically

Level 3: The descent into the abyss

Level 4: Couples that automatically just make me think, "...What?"

If anyone dares to do this, or at least with the couples they know, I recommend dividing it into parts before sharing it so the people can distinguish it better 😅:

Fuck it, I think Archie!Sonic is crazy for not having Sonic and Mina as the endgame ship. Yeah yeah plot reasons, but its more logical in a sense that Sonic is a bum with no job. He'd still be set for life if he got with Mobius' superstar idol, Mina Mongoose!

for the ask game: what was your first ship, and from what fandom?

Ough…my first ship…the first ship I ever got really invested in for online fandom had to have been either Sonmina (Sonic and Mina from Sonic Archie) or Ash and Iris from Pokemon? It took awhile for me to get big into shipping but I do have memories of either making meta or fighting for those two ships in some capacity. Now looking back at them there was.. certainly a pattern developing but I liked how similar they were to each other and how happy they made each other. I’ll always be convinced Ash/Iris wasn’t popular just because she was black lol. And Sonmina was made to fail. But thats okay they’re my babies until the end of time

I’m starting to realize the reason I like Sonmina is the exact same reason other people like Sonaze.

That being: the two of them work from a dynamic standpoint and are roughly equal in power (though Sonmina definitely involves him helping her get to that point rather than Sonic and Blaze being equals by default).
