Hearing Alison’s words, Delphine wanted to believe them; so.. so badly but even for the hopeful scientist, she knew to the exact of Cosima’s condition. Although it wasn’t until Alison pulled her in, arms around her that Delphine calmed somewhat.. not very much but.. a little bit. “We’re working on a new stem cell.. not only for her but.. for all of you, try and prevent this from happening to any of you.” She stated.

Alison could feel the blonde relax into her arms, and she wondered if her words were of any help. She seemed so afraid, and that worried Alison. Delphine actually knew what was going on with Cosima, and she knew the severity of the disease. If Delphine was this worried, it couldn't be good. "Well, that's a good sign, right? Will it cure Cosima?" she asked, not wanting to seem selfish and ask about the possibility of it saving them as well.

"A meteor shower?" A simple but genuine smile fought it’s way onto Delphine’s pink tinted lips. "Well, well, detective I never pictured you at the kind to sit out and watch such things." She stated honestly before shrugging. "I am more.. Scientology then astrology but.. I don’t see why not."

"Yeah...well, I kinda met someone that's worth learning a little bit for." She chewed on her lower lip, dropping her gaze, avoiding Delphine's. The detective then stood up, grabbing a blanket, which had been scrunched up beside her. "We have like, ten minutes, I cleared a space in the backyard earlier. Not that I was...eager or anything."

A power out. Great. Just was they needed. Delphine came across as a calm but strong woman. She could handle herself. But the only little glitch in her was the dark. A grown woman afraid of the dark you say? No, the blonde would put it as.. ‘I am not such a fan’. But deep down, it made her heart beat that much quicker. Although when the other came closer with their hands on Delphine’s hips, she smirked, swallowing a nervous sigh due to the lack of light. “Hm, what is it you’re doing?” She asked although feeling a pair of lips getting lost somewhat in the curve of her neck, a tiny laugh left her lips as they tried again, finding her chin, her jaw.. even her cheek bone, just under her eye. “You have.. terrible aim..” She laughed, slowly forgetting about the dark before those lips finally found hers. Her safe haven.

"     Shhh, just let it happen." Cosima laugh curls from deep in her chest, like it’s been sleeping over night, as though she hasn’t been giggling in awhile. The tiny dreadlocks woman leans into Delphine's embrace, swirling the pads of her fingers against the super-soft hairs at the back of her girlfriends's neck before moving down."Dude, try being as tiny as me while in the dark... it's totes hard, okay?" with a grin creeping between the press of their kisses, Cosima works her thumbs to her hips, sliding just between their bodies to work at the nerves. She caresses Delphine, dipping her head under the taller woman's chin to suck lightly on her neck. Kissing while in the dark turns out to be hotter than she expected.
