So I was reading GoL and I just think that the Sing-Akira interactions are wholesome in a sibling or a friendly sort of way. Just thinking about them being romantically together is kinda creepy and unsettling. I mean they have like a ten year age difference what the fuck?!

Hmm. There's plenty. But firstly, you'll only what to ship them if you have a soft corner for Yue. Otherwise he's just another bastard for you.

Yuesing is sweet as both - a platonic and romantic ship. In fact, in my head, I always think that these two would've been friends before finding their romantic feelings for each other.

I personally love Yue a lot. The thing about banana fish is that there is no black and white distinction between good and bad. There's all this different shades that kinda like help you empathise with the character more. Yue has, no doubt, done plenty of things that could easily classify him as a villain. This is exactly why, if you hate him, that's also completely right.

But he is literally a child. 16. Just think how much does a person have to abused or in general, be surrounded by hatred that his natural response to seeing love is eliminating it. In the anime, we see him wanting Ash to be the savage and wild "Lynx" so that he could have a good rival (note: I don't actually remember what he said. It's been a while since I've seen the anime. So please excuse my mistake, if any.)

The way his step brothers so very easily sold him to Dino. The way his brothers killed his mother in front of him. He's had a tough or rather bad childhood too. Ash and him - I won't say same - are similar in some ways and very different in the others.

Sorry for the rant. What I basically mean to say is that I want him to have a second chance in his life. To get better. No one else around him raise their voice against him. Sing was the first. And if I'm not wrong, at the very end of the last episode, Sing also tells him that he would stay with him and help him be a better person. Or something like that.

That was the exact moment when I started shipping yuesing actually. They would have a lovely friendship. And of it turns into something romantic? I have nothing against it lol.

I probably didn't answer your question all that well 😅 but this is the main reason why I love yuesing; I just want Yue to have his redemption too.
