Cool dude. I didn’t rly have much of an opinion on him, but I prefer him & Squirrel compared to her & Bramble. However, I do like Bramble/Storm, so it goes full circle. Also I changed my canvas size so that I can fit in their tails a bit more
Design Notes:
-The cooler version of Greystripe.
- Has Crookedstar’s face patterns & stripes that look like his, hence the name.
- Apart from that, he resembles Willowbreeze more. He has her fur texture & ear tufts, and just kinda looks like her in general. He ultimately resembles Greystripe more
Headcannons:
•Overall, he gives of the same vibes as a beach bum from Florida. Just a laid-back guy who cares for nothing more than his family & the food going into his stomach. With that in mind, these hcs are NOT gonna match his personality, so bear with me.
• Had the personality I mentioned above pre TigerClan, but afterwards because more paranoid & guarded. He also despised RiverClan for treating the situation the way they did, but kept his head down & tried being more ‘obedient’ so that the clan would ostracize him less. Kinda like the fawn trauma response yk?
• Disapproved with Feathertail’s relationship with Corefeather not because he was conservative or smth, but because he deeply feared that the two would end up like Grey & Silver. Specifically he feared that either Feathertail would leave him behind in Riverclan; a place that only feels like home because he shared it with Feathertail. Or that Feather would die in birth just like their mother did, another form of the only cat he trusted/ had understand him, leave him behind forever
• Due to the last point, he had lots of respect for Tawnypelt. Because despite his hatred for Tigerstar & how he made his clanmates treat him, he also acknowledged that Tawny was also subjected to him the same way he was; they also both have the ultimate goal of proving they’re not the way others see them/ expect them to be, and kinda bonded over that shared prejudice. (Once again have not read Tawny’s novella, so idk if this is something they acknowledge in there.
• When he was at the tribe, he sorta felt like an equal; he had respect (even if it was just basic ‘human’ decency), and was only judged by his skills as opposed to his heritage. This, combined with the intense feeling of love he and Brook shared, shaped his decision to join the Tribe and grow back into his old self pre-Tigerstar
• Preferred Birds & small animals to fish anyways, though he’s not picky
