Day One - On Tommy's Lunch Tupperware

Twenty years Darcy had lived with this AFFLICTION in her brain. An unquenchable, ever-reaching hunger for MORE. Indicative then of just how fucking SELFISH she was that it had taken this long for her to finally be afraid of what lurked BEYOND the guardrails she’d so EFFORTLESSLY ignored in the past. Paranoia had gotten the best of her. MAYBE Helena had been on her way. MAYBE NOT. And naybe Darcy regretted not sticking around to find out. Regardless, the more empty bottles of alcohol found the back seat of her car, the greater CLARITY she found. She had lost all control tonight. Become a slave to BASER INSTINCT. She’d reached a new high that she NEVER could have imagined. And it had practically cost her all semblance of who she BELIEVED herself to be.

DARCY: You were right. DARCY: I was a desperate bitch. DARCY: Never. Again.

And yet as her thumb lingered over the delete button, the young brunette couldn’t even punch down the way her stomach TWISTED and ROTTED. (She’d blame it on the alcohol.)
