I'm SO OBSESSED with your omegaverse Soostan fic! I just reread it and now I'm thinking about Soos knowing all the ways to help an omega in heat without mating them because he knows he's gotta ask for permission for that and he's not going to ask until Stan's out of his heat and actually able to think. But Soos just closing his teeth around Stan's mating gland and sucking on it just a little and it's something Stan's needed for decades and it feels so, so good. I just think Soos would find all the ways to make Stan melt, taking such good care of him while Stan is out of his mind with how needy he is.

Soos doesn't want a fight and he suspects Maybe Ford is a little annoyed with him being around but like. He's carried Robbie by the back of the sweater all the way from the shack to his parents' house because he wasn't leaving Wendy alone. He has experience with teenage twerps. He doesn't even have to do anything because Stanley isn't annoyed and Soos is just kinda ignoring that Ford is challenging him and hoping Ford gives up because it's really starting to hurt Ford's feelings that Soos isn't engaging at all and Soos doesn't know how to help that. He tried asking Mr. Pines for advice but Stanley's a teenager and gets mad at Ford for trying to ruin his relationship so. Awkward.

But yeah Soos tries to see if submitting helps like it did with old Ford except Ford doesn't last very long and tries to pretend he's not overstimulated until Soos rides him so hard he cries (Ford: It's fine I'll make him submit next time [he does not, or the time after, but he does get a really big overstim kink. Your last reblog got me thinking about Soos, Melody, and Ford all being totally subby alphas for Stan

Ford isn't good at being dominant because he gets resentful from it, even platonically Ford just isn't good at taking control while also holding respect for the people he's in control of (he thought Stanley was a useless leach in highschool because Stanley followed his lead, he stopped respecting Fiddleford's opinions when Fiddleford became his subordinate, he underestimated Bill's power over him because Bill was His Muse) but Stan is loyal to him and Stan knows better than him (he would have torn his family apart or died between dimensions without him) so he tries to follow Stan's lead because it's more comfortable than following his own

Soos doesn't like some of his alpha symptoms, he doesn't like snapping at people when he's not really angry, so he's kind of been hiding behind Stan for his ruts since he presented. Stan's always taken care of him, given him water and his suit jacket and driven him home while Soos apologized over and over. Following what Stan says is natural to him, Stan knows what to do all he has to do is listen.

Melody is different, she doesn't have the longevity they do. But she does respect him as an authority, even though she's pretty dominant herself she listens to what Stan has to say and takes it into consideration. It's part good bdsm etiquette and part when things get tense Stan can keep Soos And Ford in check and not just Soos

Mostly objectively, it's less actual attraction and more that the intelligent older gentleman with both experience in his field and a better understanding on mechanics than him that is currently housing, feeding and teaching him likes his brother more than him. He was Pa's favorite now he's a little mopey that he's not also New, Better Pa's™ favorite. He thinks if Soos didn't have an Unfair Bias because he fucks Stan (he fully believes that's what's happening) Soos would stop calling him Other Stan and let him in his sexy murder basement and stop shooting the monsters he lets in the house 😔

Basically Ford just has daddy issues but if he and Soos ever fucked Soos would give an 'eh' hand gesture and say "4/10 sorry dude" and Ford would cry and come abt it
