I can definitely see why Tommy *could* be a ghost, but I also hope you’re wrong. I would like for John to have living friends (though ghost ones are also nice)!

Agnarr looked from the portrait to Anna, his eyes wide as he had been lost in his memories that she jarred him from. “Oh, Anna..” The man brushed his hands on his pants before smiling.

“That,” he gestured fondly to the portrait, “is my old friend, Lieutenant Destin Matthias.”

“Well….I’ve been reading some books about it…and I just thought it would be…interesting?” Anna shrugged. It beat taking to the portraits or wandering the halls.

“It certainly would be interesting. To be trained with the sword will take some dedication, Anna. Are you prepared for it?” Agnarr questioned lightly. He had no problem teaching her. He trusted his daughter, and it would be some good bonding time. Besides, who knows when this would be helpful?
