I've been thinking about blind!wwx a lot lately! How do you think the current wwx would recognize lwj w/o having seen his feature before? Do you think wwx will stare at lwj a lot cuz you know, he's never seen lwj face before & now he gets too! I wonder if lwj gets jealous so often cuz wwx would stare at everyone & anything while lwj just wants wwx to look only at him! This is NOT a fic!request btw. Older bro Jay acting so differently between Tim & Dami killed me omg! I think it'll be way worst if Damian were a girl. Jay'd even be stricter than anyone else in the house! He'd demand to know where Dami is all the time. no like a big NO to hanging out with Jon by themselves or any boys in general. He'd asks million questions to them b4 they hang out lol if he ever caught dami coming back from patrol or party whatever late at night, Jay'd be the first person Dami see 1/2

2/3 To the point Dami just sneak to her room instead of coming through front door lol I think Jay'd get the title of dadlite-2. Cuz he acts like one. Giving the actual "talk" cuz god knows bruce ain't gonna give it to her (he tried to his credit but failed miserably). But I think Jay'll be the best older bro when it comes to dami needing him to get pads, cravings, or just a walk in a park. Jay knows when dami wants to be alone but not too alone. So, he'll shut up & just enjoy the walk in silence

3/3 if dami ever cries cuz of heartbreak, well... it's safe to say that the boy who DARES to break her heart will die. Suddenly disappear from the world & when dami confronts Jay about it, he'll be like "what chu talking about? all i ever do was getting you some donuts and ice cream". dami'll be furious but takes the donuts and ice cream off jay's hand anyway hahaha if dami ever cries or breakdown, all the dads will head over heels trying to get her better and find the source of this problem!

haha even Bruce and Dick tells him he needs to chill, but totally appreciate it when Jason takes initiative to get in someone’s face about the safety of their daughter.

And Jon Kent is Jason’s mortal enemy, let’s be real. When they’re only friends sure but ESPECIALLY when Jon shows up with flowers one day and Jason gets mad because ‘why did no one TELL ME superbaby was taking her out on a date?!” He sits up waiting all night. Dick thinks it’s cute, in a way. Bruce is just glad someone else is handling it so he can keep being Batman. 

adversely, Tim goes out with Conner and Jason just stops him at the door and like. Gives him a Costco-size box of condoms and says so OUTRAGEOUS stuff like ‘Be safe, I’m too young to be a cool uncle.’ and just. Walks away. 

This family is a mess and loves their babies okay.

Well, tbh w/ you, I don't think older bro Jay'd even allow Jon to make necessary move w/ Dami at all LOL. If jay ever see Jon trying to kiss Dami in front of his eyes, ohh jon be dead omg. He'll chase him out the house & ban them from meeting each other for a good while (even bruce + dick think it's ridiculous lol) Jay'd be there to patrol w/ Dami cuz he knows if he's not there, the superbaby'd try to pull stuns on his very smol baby sis. 1/2

2/2 Imagine Jay just complaining to B, Dick, Tim, even Alfred about Dami all day and night. Sometimes Tim just ignores him cuz he knows he'll get the scolding too when Jay complains about dami to him. Tim just sneaks away too. Dude! Tim and Dami sneak out together and Jay is hellbent on finding them and grounding them xD hahaha Ohhhhh baby jay, worried about the kids <3 have a great day btw :) Miss you and the cat! kiss damian for me pwease!

haha Tim and Damian would like. Start just retorting to Jason all the time with ‘you know you’re not our dad right?’ but that tends to not work because Jason will through back ‘but you’d listen to Dick if he said it.’ so Damian would probably come back with ‘youre not my father OR Grayson so SHUT UP.’

But then adversely, Tim and Damian woudl do the thing where if they asked Bruce or Dick and they said no, they’d go ask Jason hahaha. 

But yeah, sorry Jon and Conner, y’all gonna be cockblocked for a few years. Prove your worth and get used to it hahahaha

(And i will! Dami’s been sleeping most of the day since the weather’s bad and we can’t go out. But when he comes out to play/help me with crafts later I’ll be sure to! :3)

Your recent fic really made me wonder if Damian ever flinched whenever Bruce's hand tried to get close or even touching him. After Bruce fractured Damian's hand, do you think it's possible that Damian became a bit traumatized? Or maybe scared? He knows consciously that his dad is a "safe place" but maybe unconsciously, his body just jumps and try to protect itself. Damian hates it that he has that kind of reaction & tries to stop it. Bruce'd be so sad when he realizes what he had done to Dami :\

Hmm, I think he might be for like, a day? But ever the self-sacrificing idiot, is willing to sacrifice is own safety and health for the sake of those he loves so much. 

I think if anything, the family might flinch around it, and try to protect both Bruce and Damian from having a repeat situation happen.

Tbh I've always seen Titus as Damian's therapy & protector at all time. Okay, not just Titus. Even Alfred the cat too. I think all the pets Damian have are trained (either prof. or just naturally) to cater to their master's need. If Ace were there too, I think Ace would be around Damian all the time. Though Ace were supposed to be Batman's dog, no one could resist this lil boy at all. (Sorry I'm kinda jittery and my mind is really foggy rn. If I say smthg weird, forgive me) (1/2)

(2/2) Imagine sick Damian sleeping wherever he finds comfortable around the house & sometimes the attic. Titus & Ace communicate with each other to find someone to take care of their sick lil baby. Either Titus or Ace barking for god knows how long to be noticed. Alfred the cat obv. jumps from the shelf to the open door attic and stay with Damian. He keeps an eye on their master until the dog comes back with someone. Bruce finding Damian sleeping there (dad moment!) Maybe tim or jason! OR dick

I think that’s why I love his pets so much? Because animals are such better judges of character than humans. So I feel like the fact that the animals loved Damian immediately and unconditionally was such a HUGE THING. Both for Damian personally, and the readers.

Because Damian works so hard to be loved and doesn’t get it? But here the animals do, and he doesn’t have to exhaust himself silly trying. 

And also - Damian’s pets reminds me of my own Dami-cat, who naturally taught himself to be a bit of a therapy/emotional support animal for me. He alerts on my emotions and needs and works to fix them. I never taught him that. And I feel like Titus, Alfred and the whole animal gang have done that for Damian and that’s so awesome? Like there is no truer love than a pet’s, and it all just warms my heart haha. 

And totally - Bruce (or Batfam member of your choice) spends days in the cave when all the sudden Ace comes down barking bloody murder, tugs his cape and drags him into the house. Titus is up in the hallway and continues leading them to Bruce’s room, where they find Damian curled up in the bed asleep with tear tracks down his face or snot on his nose because he’s been hiding a cold, and Alfred cat is curled around Damian’s head purring away, and Goliath is standing protectively at the window. It warms and breaks the family’s heart all at once. Their lil boy is so precious and they feel guilty because sometimes they forget that, but these pets, these animals, never ever do.

If Ra's has control over the thing in Damian's spine. Bruce'd be livid! Just imagine Tim working his hardest to deactivate or take it out. While Bruce is just holding really weak, tired, and in pain Damian. Damian's screaming & crying in pain kill Bruce and Alfred's heart the most. Their baby is in pain! Damian keeps apologizing for hitting them etc because he has no control over his body. Damian passed out cold from all the pain & suffering. Probably need to be hooked up on IV too :(

Then what if Damian's not supposed to be able to walk without the thing inside controlling him? The girls are working with Tim to deactivate it but when they realize this, I think Barbara will be hit them most. She'd do anything for Damian to walk cuz he's only 13! But Damian wants it out from his body. He'll train to walk for a long time while alternating with wheelchair too. Dad & Dad-lite will be the happiest when they see Dami walking again tho he fell on his 3rd or 4th steps

Aw, Damian would feel so guilty, even though absolutely none of it is his fault. And he’d try to hide the pain of fighting the machines, but Bruce, for once, would see right through it. Hold Damian and tell him to let it out, he doesn’t need to hide anything anymore. So Damian does. He hates it, hates being so weak, but he cries in his father’s arms. Clings and squeezes his hand when the pain is at its worst.

And while Dick is off fighting Ra’s, he’ll have his communicator on the whole time, will hear all of Damian’s pain and anguish, and Tim’s attempts to fix everything. It’ll fuel him to move as fast as he can, and save his baby. 

Barbara would definitely be hit the hardest if the implants cause Damian to be paralyzed. It might make her relive/think about how she became paralyzed too, and that’s not good for anyone. 

But the family would already be working on ways to fix it, so she goes another route - she helps Damian with the paralyzation. Talks with him about it, makes sure his emotions are okay. Basically give him all the help she might not have had herself. 

And she’s just as thrilled as dad and dad-lite if Damian regains his abilities. I feel like she and Damian would have a new understanding/friendship then, so if he does regain the ability, he’d go to her first for any sort of affection or hugs or the like, even before Bruce or Dick.

Have been thinking that Slow Dancing in a Burning Room by John Mayer kinda fits the relationship between Damian and Jason. Maybe in the earlier stage of their relationship or maybe marriage? Just not knowing how to handle each other, especially during those 'mad' nights. Nights where both of them are just done with the world and everything. But slowly they just hold each other in the midst of every broken things

but I can see their relationship very physical like you mentioned? Because words have never been either’s strong suit, so when they’re emotional it might come out in fists or kicks instead. But they also don’t want to hurt each other obviously, so instead, train themselves to just...hold each other. When they’re upset, hold each other. When they feel like they’re going crazy, hold each other. Sometimes the holding hurts. Sometimes one of them squeeze too hard and maybe accidentally leave bruises, but it’s good enough, for the both of them.

They’d rather silently hold each other in the bad, dark moments than endure what their other, more violent options, would be.

I LOVE WOODKID. Honestly, all of his songs remind me of the batfam hahaha. And especially Damian. ‘Run Boy Run’ is another really great Damian song by Woodkid. I highly recommend all his stuff for Batfam feels~
